Hate to hear that. I think that basically ends the season for WOS. I'm not surprised with Harvey that this hasn't happened more.

How'd the schedule end up like that? Damage to other schools or damage at LCM? Seems odd to have a bunch of road games to end district.

If it ain't happened by now I doubt it will. Besides I thought we weren't turning this into a Livingston thread! Ill just keep on drinking because that's how I cope with these things. Buena Suerte new BMT HS.

Almost sounds like LCM should have stayed in the Bear Cave one more year. Hopefully y'all work out the kinks soon. Its is a bad deal with all grades sharing a school still under construction.

In football and baseball I was counting on those as wins. In basketball well we all know those are losses. I enjoyed coming home even on trips I knew it was going to be a long night. I would go tomorrow if I didn't have deadlines to meet. Maybe the new school will get some of the kids that aren't playing to tryout. When my brother was at west brook he said the best athletes were walking the halls instead of playing. A good coach and culture can be the start of good things. For football its a quantum leap in competition to jump to 6A. Even talent rich Port Arthur struggled in its last few years. I think the basketball team will be competitive quickly. I wish the the new school nothing but the best.

Freshman won by 2 tds if I recall. My son ran roughshod on y'all. When he played Ozen JV the next week we called off the dogs. Livingston will be good again. The upper classes were small.

The man was a legend. Had him for PE freshman year at Lamar. He was a person that we looked up to on campus. He was a heck of an athlete at Livingston Dunbar when Livingston was actually winning state championships and is in the school's hall of fame. He's gonna be missed but not forgotten.

This won't make you feel good. Livingston freshmen stomped both schools. It could be ugly.

Easy fellas. I ate my crow last night. It was at Twin Peaks and washed down with beer but it was crow nonetheless, I swear! All seriousness good show. The question is can you beat LCM on Friday. If you don't do that we won't remember how close you played Silsbee.

Don't you mean beat WOS? I kid too soon. The Mustangs decided to fight tonight and are giving Silsbee fits. Maybe its a better game than anticipated on Friday

I don't think much of WOS ball these days and from what I remember of Orangefield when. I lived out here it wasn't good. Yes I believe Orangefield should have won. Good for their improvement but that just shows how far the Mustangs have fallen. For the poster to insinuate WOS would give Silsbee a better game than LCM is ludicrous.

That's hilarious. They barely beat Orangefield. LCM ain't losing to the Mustangs. Silsbee vs WOS is closer to scalpers night off than a competitive game

I can buy that. I don't think they see Yates until Huntsville. I don't think HJ or Huffman Hargrave can get closer than 20. Diboll and Shepherd have played good ball but they're not in Silsbee class. And if LCM wasn't playing at home it might have been a bigger deficit. So who's gonna challenge Silsbee. One seeds don't meet until the game before the regional tournament if its all chalk.
