You do realize Obama had most of those same virtues?  I don't know about "cheat", but the others could probably apply to Obama.  Jmo

Nobody is talking about Obama except you and your crew. I didn't vote for Obama either time so I am lost as to why you guys keep pointing back to him as justification for your argument.

You are so disturbed by the "moral conduct" of Mr. Trump but yet have no problem whatsoever with Monica and all of the other  Bill Clinton dalliances while occupying the Presidential office or the Governors office.  Why is that?

If your asking if "New Tobie" and I are the same person, the answer is no. I am not him and have my own opinions.

I've asked him that many, many times, but he refuses to answer. I'm fairly certain the answer lies strictly with party affiliation (as you, I, and everyone on this board already knows), though he won't admit it.

But let's give it another try. new tobie, can you answer stevenash's question? This is probably the 20th or 50th time you've been asked. Why do you run from such a simple question?

I have said before, I have no liberal party affiliation. This isn't ok for you because, in your world, you are either conservative or liberal and that's what shapes you.

In reality, if you cannot stand back and see Donald Trump as the ignorant, arrogant, immoral, lying, cheat that he is, then you are the one blinded by your bias. He is everything I have asserted him to be and your only rebuttal to that is that I am supposedly a liberal. You say I have a liberal media bias as you eat Cheetos, watch Fox News and read Breitbart.

And again you are so wrong. Hate comes from the fact that you attack Trump as immoral, unscrupulous, and evil without any facts. There is a huge difference between us. You can try the old "tried and true" Liberal tactic of personal attacks, but I can respond in kind. The overused Liberal tactic of trying to attach a generalized label on someone with no basis is just childish. But you keep trying, the more you open your mouth the better understanding we have of your hateful underpinnings.

So let's discuss the "illegal" term that you left off and flippantly disregarded . If I go into your house uninvited, according to your definition that is perfectly acceptable. According to the law that is illegal. There is a huge difference between guest and intruder. Would you call the police or would you let me just make myself at home and raid your refrigerator? And how would you feel if you called the police, and their response was "If he hasn't committed any other crime, then we are not interested in pursuing this matter."

Now if you called the police, does that mean I can call you a bigot, or a racist, or a deplorable, or evil? Attacking someone as evil for attempting to enforce the laws already on the books, then trying to pin an unjustifiable negative pejorative on that person, is a sure sign of hate. Would you care to respond?

I'll address your dribble in the order you spit it:

    1) Immoral/Unscrupulous:  "Grab her by the p....", multiple extramarital affairs, a blatant liar who continues to lie to cover up lies, see entire feuds with both Rosie O'Donnell and Megan Kelly

    2) Evil:  Blatant disregard for human life, enciting crowds to riotous levels by suggesting that Bowe Berhgdal be killed for deserting his unit,

And the immigrants I was talking about were never intended to be those illegals that you are concerned with. I guess a better term would be "refugees" who Trump shows no regard for as he tries to block them from entering our country seeking asylum from the atrocities they are suffering in Syria. To dismiss them, as if they were dogs, is the antithesis of that which was taught by Christ. Christians should be the first ones welcoming them to our shores and working to meet their needs. Instead, believers are too worried about who is a terrorist and who is not to have compassion for the 99.9% of them who have no ties to terror at all. Christ said that in order to serve Him we must "lose our lives". While that has a metaphorical connotation it is actually very literal. We serve Christ even though it may endanger us and even though it may cost us our lives. Lots of folks have lost sight of that and have no problem shedding the blood of others to ensure that our lives are preserved.

And this same argument applies to illegal immigrants. I am in favor of the law, but the "hate" (an attribute that you have tried to assign to me) that I see in those conversations from believers really strikes me as foul. It's obvious that some of us have forgotten our status as trespassers and transgressors, so much so that we want to level greater punishments on others than we would ever level upon ourselves.

And no one ever called you a bigot, racist, or deplorable. That is something you have derived from the "liberals" that you obviously loathe, and which I am not to be classified as. However, you have determined that anyone who disagrees with your right wing, America worshiping Christianity is a "liberal nutjob". Carry on brother, I pray you see the error in your ways.

Wow, so much hate with little to no evidence to support that hate.

Why did you conveniently forget to include the word "illegal" when you stated "his insistence that immigrants be locked out and deported"? Is it because it just blows your whole narrative sky high? I would ask you to comment on various other parts of this rant, but let's just stick to this one first.

Illegal or not, the point is the same.

And where did you find hate in my post? I am simply pointing out facts just as you do. The only difference between us is that my main source of information is not Alex Jones.

Obviously you are!  Comey stated there was "nothing" concerning Trump and Russia.  Comey was fired because he was incompetent!  One needs to look no further than who picked him to begin with! Does one honestly think that obama WAS NOT going to pick a political hack??

Comey was quoted as saying: "Don't believe the fuzz, Russia absolutely interfered with our election".

A political hack that cost Hilary the election in late October by reopening the investigation into her?

How are you coming up with this? From a political perspective I have not seen Trump being a bully.

Then your not looking very hard. He literally fired Comey because he was looking into the Russia allegations, then tweeted that Comey "better hope there are no tapes" of their conversations. That's just one of many examples. Spare me the "liberal media" speech because that is not the root of this. I am no Trump fan, but I'm certainly no liberal either. I would ask any follower of Christ to explain why they thought they could support a man like Donald Trump. Between his blatant immorality, his disregard for human life, and his insistence that immigrants be locked out and deported, I can find no reason for any believer to attach their name to this man. Yet, so many do because he "wasn't Hilary" and said he was pro-life. Hear me on this:  Pro life means pro life. That's pro life of fetus', pro life of immigrants, pro life of Bowe Berghdal. There is no distinction. He is as evil as any candidate that the liberals would've put up there and he is not the "lesser of two evils". He is the equal of two evils.

Nevertheless, the Lord has ordained this man as the leader of our country and I will continue to seek the Lord until His purposes in this are made clear. I just fear that the one all these believers think is going to be our savior is the one being used by the Lord as an instrument of judgment.

But at the same time he does not back down from the bully press and their fake news.  Bush was hammered by the press and he took the high road, and I admire him for that, but at some point one has to confront the bully, and Trump is doing that.

I think the only way for Trump to confront the bully is to look in the mirror.

they still have not confirmed suicide. Still waiting on gsr results. Since super arrived: ad left, asst. principal, and jr high principal. Shredding truck shows up day after order not to destroy. Video surveillance broken. 4 days to give a statement to police. If you read the asst pricipals resignation, he makes several points that I think could  definitely win a civil suit if it was sought.

Just want to double check, are you insinuating that this might be a murder?

  10. 12 hours ago, WOSgrad said:

Forgive me for being skeptical, but I simply don't believe that the super's reasons for not disclosing the true reason for the meeting between them was to protect Mr. Reeves' reputation.   Especially given that he threatened a district investigation over the affair that by all accounts, including that of investigating law enforcement, had ended long before the meeting between Wallis and Reeves....a threat which ultimately lead to the resignation of Reeves.

Skeptical? You are basically saying that Wallis forced Reeves to resign over a matter that was handled by the previous superintendent in 2015. That's more than skeptical. Wallis may be no angel, but to force a resignation based on an incident that was put to bed by the previous regime nearly two years ago is unimaginable! Not to mention that this incident led to a suicide on school property that you are indirectly implying was due to Wallis' "power play".  You are literally allowing your emotions to get in the way of your reason, which is not usually your calling card.

The more reasonable explanation is that something new occurred and Wallis gave Reeves an ultimatum. Wallis didn't feel comfortable telling the news media that the meeting was disciplinary in nature, so he made something up. I can't blame him, I am sure he was in shock and was trying to do the right thing by talking to law enforcement before making comments to the news. When the police questioned him, he told the truth and referred all other requests for information to the police. The truth is, Wallis will not survive this. He was already behind the 8 ball, and this situation has just sealed his fate. If he starts the next school year as superintendent I will be surprised.

If we really want to talk about irresponsible, let's talk about the Kirbyville chief of police. He is giving details of an active investigation to the news media to be broadcast all over the area. That is irresponsible.

This is the hidden content, please

There is still a hole in this story. If the affair had already been investigated in 2015, why was it being brought up again? No one in their right mind can actually believe that Wallis brought it up to try and force Reeves to resign, or be fired, nearly two years later. I can only assume that what is missing is a separate allegation regarding the same employee. Maybe they got caught again. Either way, the only reason any of us know these details is because the "tin foil hats" jumped out to allude that Wallis may have murdered Reeves right after this happened! Leave this alone, let his family heal, quit picking at the scab before the entire story hits the paper and the family is caused much more harm!

  12. Why is everyone convinced that the Superintendent has something to do with the suicide? It seems pretty cut and dried to me, and it is a very sad story that doesn't need to be inflamed with a conspiracy theory. The man got caught in his second affair, he was losing his job, probably going to lose his wife and his kids were at the age that they might decide to never speak do him again for doing this to their family. It weighted heavily and he thought he was beyond repair. End of story.
