So, in 2012 freshman congressman Rick DeSantis voted no on a bill to supplemental aide for New Jersey after hurricane Sandy, implying that people without flood insurance are fiscally irresponsible and it was not right for the federal government to bail out the unfortunate. Now, it happens in his state  and he runs hat in hand to President Biden and Congress asking for that which he opposed 10 years ago. He couldn’t say enough good about the nonpartisan help he’s received from Biden on Tucker Carlson the other night.  Despicable, I say.  That $12,000,000 taxpayer money he spent sending asylum seekers from Texas to Massachusetts would sure buy a bunch of bottles of water for his constituents.  Looks like he could starve his constituents and not lose any votes, so long as he didn’t starve them to death. Vote Democrat!

The despicable moniker should be placed directly on you (and Big Girl). You have fallen for one of the oldest and very obvious political tricks. That is: Name a bill and provide as the purpose of the bill some noble help for citizens, then insert all of your pork projects that can't pass on their own. When anyone dares to vote against it, accuse them of hating Americans. The Democrats, and to a much lesser extent, Republicans, have been doing this for years. And here we have two supposedly educated people falling for this obvious trickeration. How despicable.

This is just the first article I found from a simple search. More evidence is readily available.

This is the hidden content, please

  2. Since both the Republicans and Democrats have no desire or willingness to deport illegals from this country, should we at least assess a surcharge to companies that employ people that are illegally occupying our country? Both parties claim to put American citizens above illegals, but everyone can see that is an outright lie. If companies are forced to pay more for employing an illegal worker, would that increase the value of unemployed legal Americans? Would the extra revenue afforded the government go to good use? Would this put a strain on our economy to a point that implementing this strategy actually hurts the country? Should only certain jobs have this caveat? How high of a penalty should companies pony up for utilizing illegal labor? What are your thoughts?

Since I have no desire to allow anyone that is illegally residing in our country to remain, I have no argument to make one way or the other. This topic is about as mute (or moot...you decide) for me as you can get. But I'm curious as to how others feel about this idea.

Name I wanted to see. He was a DUDE!

He and his dad (Curtis) are legends at HF.

He was a good high school RB. He flourished at Rice. He went from a finesse runner at HF to a power runner in college. I was very impressed with his transition to the college level. Reminds me a lot of the transition Roschon Johnson made on style of running.

I keep wondering if Anthony Semien was the RB in 1991. I think he graduated in 1990 though. My memory is way worse than 20-20.

Gator bait we live in a sensitive world. Just because i have a different opinion on the game doesn't mean im wrong or right. I just called it as i see it. I guess being blunt will get you there.  They will be okay. Im sure they got upset with Trumps tweets too.  The show will go on.

Are you really misinterpreting my post this bad? Really?

This is not about your opinion of the game. This is about you spending the majority of your posts running down Hamshire-Fannett and their facilities. If you want blunt analysis...it seems you are a simpleton that gets his feelings hurt when called out on your posts... so much so that you have to attack by deflection. I'm sure you will not understand this post, so get a middle schooler to explain it to you. If you would like to continue your passive pissing contest, move it to an appropriate section. I will be glad to show you how intelligent you are.

I find it odd (not really) that you refuse to "debate" in the political section, then spout off political rhetoric in the High School football section. Do you even realize the irony of that? Of course not! Someone will eventually explain it to you.

So if you want to continue bashing opponents facilities, or if you would like to get political (like you've already tried), then mosey on over to the political section if you dare. We will be okay, but I doubt your sensitive dairy-air can handle the bluntness.

Maybe this topic can now get back on track! Any childish retorts need to be moved to the political section.

👍 You bet! Im Just sending a check to a athletic school instead.

You might want to save your money on English and grammar courses for yourself.

If you want to get into a pissing contest, meet me in the Political section. I will be more than happy to go down in the gutter where you reside. Until then, how about keeping it classy in this section.

  6. The raid on Project Veritas' James O'Keefe's properties in order to steal/suppress the diary of Joe Biden's daughter needs to be added to the list. The FBI basically told journalists and the world that if you dare obtain dirt on Biden, we will come for you. Some in the FBI should be facing prison time for this act alone, let alone the other atrocious acts listed.

Why do keep posting RADICAL RIGHT B.S.

Because he can. Would you rather censor the "radical B.S."? Would you like to refute the article or attack the messenger? Why do you think it is radical? Could it be maybe this is mainstream and you are the radical? Who gets to decide? You? I think not...and I didn't even read the article. Please provide your rationale for declaring this article "Radical Right B.S."...just to peak my interest enough to read it for myself so I can judge your intelligence.

Did you see where Trump can’t find anybody to represent him vs the government? No self-respecting attorney will put their name/reputation on the line for Trump anymore.

Best keep a firm hand on the soap, DT.

Did you see what the FBI/DOJ did to many of Trump associates (with the media's blessing)? Did you forget to mention that? Of course you are too blind to see it. Again, the Liberal media has made you a laughing stock of the board. Own it big boy!

So was it tongue-in-cheek when he said that the election was stolen, too?

It’s not satire, it’s a slight exaggeration, maybe. Shooting somebody? Of course it’s an analogy. But he can definitely act hateful, lose an election that was practically un-losable, try to overthrow the government, steal an election, mishandle top secret docs, act like a petulant child, pay for 8 abortions, get impeached twice, lose both houses of Congress, destroy the economy, mishandle the pandemic/vaccination response, set trillions of dollars in wasteful PPP spending, explode the national debt, fail to get the keystone pipeline built, forget about repeal and replacing Obamacare, never prosecute Hillary, and generally embarrass the office of the presidency and the red-hatted fools will still wipe a tear from their eye and proclaim “he’s the best President we’ve ever had.”

The truth is this. Rudy literally lost his license to practice law based on the things he said and did after the election. Why isn’t he, a former prosecutor, US Attorney, and “America’s Mayor” trying to get his license reinstated? Because at this point he’s just hoping to die a free man, that’s why.  Just like that clown Donald Trump.

Y’all are dumber than those people who still refer to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton as “Reverend.”

All you can do for a reply is lie! lie! lie! The Liberal media has made you a bumbling fool. Own it. You deserve it.

I think Trump said it best.

He’s right. If he said it’s gonna snow in southeast texas tomorrow, y’all would be chopping firewood and buying snow tires.

And then y’all would be blaming democrats, the DOJ, and the media when it hits 96 degrees tomorrow.

Wow. Just wow. You posted this video months ago, and got torched for it...by practically everyone on the board. Did you not learn your lesson? Here you are posting it again. It proves you have zero comprehension of anything that has to do with Trump. If Trump said it was going to snow in Southeast Texas tomorrow, you can sure well bet that it was tongue-in-cheek, mocking the biased media and their sheeple (like you). The media would easily convince you sheeple that he was serious. And you would fall for it just like you fell for your above post. How can you not see this? I still laugh at your TDS, but feel a little sorry for you because it's pretty much clinical now. I keep hoping you will come out and say you were just joking the whole time...but that would reveal you to be really, really "deranged".

I’m not embarrassed.  Or gullible. Those who make such accusations are usually covering for their own embarrassment, gullibility, and insecurity.

You are not readily cognizant of your own inferiority to understand that you cannot comprehend the extent of your deserved shame. Translation: you should be embarrassed. I guess your next post will be that "Trump worshipers" love chicken and watermelon. Is that what your Liberal media Gods have conditioned you to repeat. (No question mark needed.) I don't know...the Liberals keep conditioning their chickens to espouse their nonsense in unison...and you are a prime example. I have a feeling you will try to retaliate with another brainless response...and I encourage that. It will give me an opportunity to say how I really feel.

Don’t forget, Big Girl, you are talking to a bunch of hypnotized parrots who “know in their hearts” that Trump is infallible. The only good fact do them is a real one turned on its head to confirm their bias.

Way to regurgitate the Liberal stereotypes the media has engrained in your brain. You have embarrassed yourself plenty by repeating these lies...do you really want to continue down this path?

It is really sad to witness the gullibility of some of you people. Some of the victims are expected, some are surprising.

  13. 7 hours ago, CardinalBacker said:

Y'all realize that this wouldn't be happening if Trump had just done what he needed to do to get re-elected, right?..... All he had to do was shut that big mouf.

Delusion at its finest. I guess the 24/7 negative media coverage encompassing nothing but false allegations and downright lies about him had no effect. Mean tweets was the compelling impetus of his downfall. You are comical. You have even regurgitated some of those debunked lies, so your credibility is less that substandard. The media sure has done a number on you.

Since you keep repeating your lie, do you expect us to somehow start believing you...or should we continue to laugh at your TDS?

You peoples’ deified adoration of Donald Trump is downright creepy. He could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and you’d accuse the FBI of a setup. The man is a grifter who is  sciopathically  narcissistic.  Federal judges don’t issue search warrants on  a whim. He’s already been caught smuggling documents out of the White House.  The law is the law and if you’re a suspect, you get investigated. Biden didn’t ask his FBI chief for a loyalty pledge. He understands separation of powers. You conspiracy clowns only believe in the justice system when your enemies are being investigated. When it’s your demigod under investigation, it’s heresy. I have no TDS, your cute little acronym for anyone who questions your omniscient leader. I believe in the rule of law, I believe Donald  Trump has broken it, and I believe he’s going to pay.

Now that is first rate entertainment. An imbecile could not muster a more accurate portrayal of an imbecile. Kudos on the performance. Beware of cultural appropriation charges...then again, you are probably safe. Enjoy yourself as you worship the selective rule of law while screaming about the rule of law. Hillary and your fellow Liberals thank you for your blind loyalty.

It's also amazing to see the lengths of mental gymnastics one will put themselves through to justify the bad behavior of their Lord and Savior, Donald J. Trump.

And that's not funny, it's actually pathetic.

Amateur hour now? Are you just mindless mimicking my posts because you can't come up with a logical retort? Nobody has defended Trump. Nobody considers him their Lord and Savior. I would call you a flat out liar but you actually believe the falsehoods you are spewing. Your TDS is on full display.

Go back and watch that first debate.  He went out of his way to be a complete and total jerk with the entire lot of undecideds looking on.  That wasn't the media making it seem like he was a two year old... it was Trump himself acting like a two year old.

He didn't win a single vote with that performance and I'd be willing to bet that he forever lost a TON of people whose minds weren't made up.  Now, that doesn't matter to the diehard Trump guys because he can do no wrong in their eyes... but that whole sordid performance was just another example of Trump throwing up a big double middle finger to anybody who wasn't wearing a red hat and it cost him (and us) dearly.

It is amazing the lengths of mental gymnastics one will put themselves through to justify their hatred of someone. The showcasing of the self-defense mechanism is almost too comical.

The media is the media... Trump got elected without them. Heck, he got elected in spite of them.

My problem is that Trump kept playing to his base...and that's nowhere the majority that he'd need to win.  He made it impossible for anybody on the left to vote for him and any undecideds/moderates in the middle would have to swallow a whole lot of moral objections to even vote for the guy.

Long story short is that Trump's supporters, like he said, would still love him even if he shot somebody walking down the street in broad daylight.  People like me (socially and fiscally conservative, but NOT a die-hard Trump guy) had a really hard time supporting him.  People in the middle broke left just to be done with him, and nobody on the left even considered breaking right even though their ticket was horrible.

And it all comes down to pure personality.  The same thing that all of his clingers here adore is the same thing that turned off so many others.  Instead of recognizing "I've got all of those MAGA hat wearing mouth-breathers on SETXSports in the bag, I should really focus on drawing in the undecideds and maybe even picking off some lefties" Trump just kept throwing Molotov cocktails so that his diehard supporters would cheer for him.  It was dumb, it cost him the election, and it really put a good screwing on all of us.  It doesn't matter how good of a job a man does as a president... he was too stupid to recognize that he needed to focus on people NOT wearing red hats,  But he, like most of y'all, fail to recognize that his supporters are still a minority.

That is such garbage. Trump did not make it impossible for anybody on the Left to vote for him. The non-stop 24/7 barrage of slanderous accusations and outright lies by the media is credited for that. Your hatred of the man is binding you to that fact. That was the whole point of this topic...to showcase that hatred. Mission accomplished (although is was a very simplistic mission).

  18. 3 hours ago, CardinalBacker said:

Just seeing this topic.  Trump vs. Biden today?  I'd still vote Trump as I believe that he's the least undesirable of the two.... He still sucks, though.

Unfortunately, Biden won't be on the ticket in 2024 and those 81 million "no votes" are still gonna vote for whoever is running against Trump. Nobody has "learned their lesson." Not even Trump.

I bet that was very hard for you. I can only imagine the mental anguish you endured with that admission. Frankly I didn't think you had it in you. Your fellow Trump hater can't even muster the same simple response to a simple question. Even Captain Obvious is jealous of the obvious choice between the two as being too obvious.

What lesson is Trump supposed to learn? The media is going to excoriate him no matter what he does. They will even continue to makeup lies about him. They will do this to whoever the Republican nominee will be. So what lesson is to be learned? Capitulate and meekly grovel at the feet of the biased media? Is that really what you are advocating?

  19. If the party nominations were set, and the presidential election was held today, who would you vote for? If the Democrat nominee is Joe Biden, and the Republican nominee is Donald Trump, and no other candidate from any other party ran, who would you vote for?

Which Trump haters will have the guts to answer, and which Trump haters will tuck tail and disgracefully run from this question? I have been laughing the whole time I have been typing. I can only imagine the consternation some folks have to endure when confronted with such a simple question. Will pride prevent a response? Will blinding hatred elicit an unmitigated and very unintelligent response? Will shame give rise to a lie? It's sad but also comical to imagine the effects of TDS. This question is really just an exercise to further laugh at the TDS afflicted, but any response would be welcomed.
