I said I don’t know his mind. That was certainly the implication.
Thanks for admitting you are not capable of interpreting Trumps statement. It was easy to decipher for anyone not ate up with TDS. Why do you feel the need to jump into a conversation in which you admit you are not capable of contributing? That's the burning question now. Just joking. Your rationale for embarrassing yourself is of no concern.

What’s embarrassing is watching a grown man (you) try to twist Trump’s words into something that doesn’t sound quite so traitorous so you can continue your idolatry.
How to argue with a person that shamelessly lies. Nobody can be this stupid.
Let's get you on record. Do you sincerely believe all of the garbage you spew about Trump, or is this some kind of ruse that you will evidently admit to? State your intentions now, so you can't come back later and try to claim you were "joking".

I hear what you’re saying, but I’m still a conservative. Or what used to be considered a conservative, lol.
Do you think your fellow Trump hater will admit for all the world to see that he agrees with your outlandish premise that Trump is wanting to get rid of the election process? He has a decision to make. How embarrassing for him if he agrees with you. How embarrassing for you if you can't even convince your fellow comrade to have your back.

I don’t know what he was saying. I don’t think he knows what he’s saying.
If you don't know what he was saying, why did you say it wasn't out of context? One of the requirements of making that judgmental statement is that you must understand the statement to judge the context. So basically you just contradicted yourself, akin to what you accused CardinalBacker of doing.
Let's see if we can get you on record here. Please give a yes or no answer. You can then follow with commentary if you like.
Do you think Trump was saying he would get rid of the election process if elected?

It wasn’t out of context. It was just one of his mindless riffs. His remarks have defied explanation ever since that first ride down the escalator.
His remarks have been misinterpreted many times by people who are not qualified to attempt the endeavor, and many times purposely by people who have an agenda. This thread is the perfect example. It is amazing how many people fall for the lies.
Just to be clear, do you actually think Trump was saying that he would get rid of the election process? Do you actually believe that? You can admit it if you believe it.

When Trump wins, someone’s post will be null and void……all of them.
He has no sense of shame, so he won't care. How someone can embarrass themselves so much is beyond comprehension.

I try not to let my dislike for Trump and his braindead followers cloud my judgment, but here goes.
I expect a repeat of the returns from 2020, with slightly improving numbers for Harris and slightly worse numbers for Trump.
Harris was on the ballot in 2020-most people realized that Biden would like fail to finish his term and Harris would end up as POTUS-and 81 million voted for them anyways. They were, and will be, okay with her being President.
You hear plenty of loud complaints about Biden/Harris, but they’re always from Rs… not Ds, not undecideds. Inflation at the grocery store doesn’t matter to people whose food is free. Gas prices rise and gas prices fall-it’s what happens. Sadly, we’re all used to $3 gasoline.
I think the real problem is this. Trump is a badly flawed candidate. When all he had to do was be quiet and let Biden implode, it would work. But now he’s forced to fight if he wants to win-he can’t just stay quiet and lose now that she’s in control. And a threatened Trump is a stupid trump. He’s going to say things that make people like Reagan and Englebert cheer, but makes undecided voters RUN the other direction. That’s the problem with saying dumb things-it might make your stupid followers cheer, but it also makes people who don’t love you run out and vote against you.
At this point (7/28/2024) it’s Kamala’s race to lose, and Trump’s strategy seems to be “say anything to make sure my base turns out to vote for me” while not recognizing that saying anything that motivates your base also motivates the other base to vote for their guy, AND turns the ones in the middle back towards the other side.
Kamala hasn’t done much in four years, but she hasn’t done much wrong, either.
I read the first line and quit. The laughter didn't allow me to continue. I'll come back to read the rest when I'm able to get past that first line...which will probably be a long, long time.

Yes, please explain it. I don't know, I might just be part sadist. It's funny to me to see you write your garbage without awareness of how laughable it is. So yes, please attempt your explanation.

I’ve never voted for a guy after he tried to overturn an election through violence, then promised to end the democratic process.
There has never been a guy that did that. Why do you constantly lie?

The only thing stupid is trying to defend the ramblings of a would-be dictator… what next? Is he going to order an attack on the Capitol if he loses the election?
“It’s not treasonous if I like the guy who’s doing it.”
Your faulty interpretation of what he said is just laughable. This has got to be the stupidest post you have every put on here, and you have some doozies. Thanks for again (and again, and again, and again...) showing the board the effects of severe TDS.

The only spin I heard is the one you put on what Trump said.
So that’s a definite “Humperdinck is cool with Trump doing away with elections.”
“Vote this time and I’ll fix it so you can go back to not voting ever again. “ How kind of Trump, lol.
I can't believe you are doubling down on stupidity. But alas, look who I'm talking to.

This is why people keep correctly stating that Trump is a threat to Democracy. I’m sure the Trumpers here will have some grand explanation by what he says here, but it just can’t be justified.
“He said: ‘Christians, get out and vote, just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians.’
Trump added: ‘I love you Christians. I’m a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again, we’ll have it fixed so good you’re not going to have to vote.’”
Don’t take my word for it… watch the clip.
You probably should beg a moderator to delete this topic for you. It is extremely embarrassing for you. I hope they leave it up though, so everyone can see your "analytical skills" on Trump topics.

No problem… I don’t read all of the articles that Reagan links, either.
Watch that clip, if you want-it blew my mind. The first link is to a news article, and the second link is the same clip embedded in a tweet. I was literally like “is this AI? Did he actually SAY this out loud?” It looks legit.
I just saw the video on CNN.com. And boy should you be embarrassed. You won't be, but you should be.
He was saying that since you people (Christians) don't normally vote in big numbers, you need to vote this time because the Democrats have been known to rig elections. We have to get people out to vote to overcome the voter fraud by Democrats. Once elected, then we can tighten the rules on voting fraud, and you people can go back to voting in low numbers. Any child could see that is what he was saying. Leave it to Liberal media to spin it the way you interpreted it. Again, you should be extremely embarrassed.
I can't believe you caused me to waste two minutes of my life investigating your hoax. This is why I don't read any of your links. What a waste of time.

I'll wait. Anyone that has TDS as severely as you has zero credibility in analyzing anything about Trump, as you have shown over and over and over....and over and over...

I think we can safely say that Englebert is cool with voting for Trump in ‘24, then never “having to vote again.”
I mean, even if one wanted to deny that 1/6 was an attempt to stop the transfer of power, the man is at a podium saying that he wants to end the way we elect our leaders.
In plain language-he plans to end our democracy. But don’t you dare call him a threat to democracy, lol.
You have a horrible record in assuming. And you are obviously wrong again. Do you ever get tired of being wrong? Will the laughter ever stop?

Just curious as to why you haven't answered CB's question. You seem to deflect a whole lot.
Are you ok with what Trump stated, no more vote?
(and I realize it could have been taken out of context, just saying)
BTW, I will be voting for Trump but I would like for his strong supporters to explain some of his remarks.
I'm waiting for the mainstream media to weigh in on this. I didn't even read the article. In fact, I never read an article posted by CardinalBacker.
I'm not sure if you aimed your last statement at me, but I can let you know that I am not a "strong supporter" of Trump. I am very, very, very strongly against Liberals. Especially their persecution of political rivals.

That’s not something democrats said- those words came straight out of Donald J Trump’s mouth, with video documentation.
So you support the idea of voting for Trump now, “and never having to vote again?”
Thats sick.
Apparently TDS is also blinding. You can't see what the Democrats have done to you. From this side looking in, it's sad and hilarious at the same time.

You are a funny little man. Try that "Trump is a failed president because he left office with less jobs than when he started" again. That's like saying the mayor of Hiroshima was a failed mayor in 1945 because the city population declined under his watch.

The Democrats have spread false lies about their political rivals. They have weaponized the IRS, DOJ, FBI, and other agencies to persecute their political rivals. They have jailed and bankrupted their political rivals. They have enlisted the media to persecute their political rivals. They have done this right in front of your eyes, and you call Trump the threat to democracy. I guess since you can't see this, you can't see everyone on this board laughing and mocking you.

Well, seeing as to how Trump just asked a crowd “would you rather have the black President or the white president,” it’s safe to say that this whole charade is falling down around us.
Trying to find a link that’s not tiktok.
You can stop now. You are not going to get that audition for "The View" that you crave. I'm not sure why though. You can regurgitate all of the Liberal talking points and you can lie without shame. You would fit right in. Sorry about your luck.

Cause Kamala’s about to figuratively do to Don what he gave some Russian prostitute good money to actually do a few years back.
You can't help but embarrass yourself can you?

I'm now starting to think I will sit out this election. After carefully listening to your hate-filled tirades full of lies, I'm now thinking, "yes, I would like to follow that man's advice. As unhinged as it is, I'll suppress my common sense (and laughter) and bow to his greatness. By not voting, I will contribute to the reality of a horrible candidate being elected. But now I don't care. I will follow the little man full of hate."
You actually tried to convince UT alum that your "process" was working. The absurdity knows no bounds. Keep trying. You almost had us. LOL.
