If you could score an interview for the gig, that’s more points you will score than during an actual football game

Didnt BC win a district championship in football within the last 4-5 years?

How many years have we said this about BC concerning football? 🤣
BC is a baseball school, hell one could say track and bball now after that then football. Football isn't a real priority in BC in my opinion.

How does a team with the best running back duo in the state not make the playoffs?

Wow! Figured Deweyvilles offensive coach would finally see he’s terrible and ask for help . So sad bc he does have a good group of kids. That’s what happens when you would rather loose then ask for help too big of a ego!!!

Whatever kool-aid they drink in HD is some strong stuff. Holy cow. 3 hour drive caused bad play. That's nuts.

Agreed. HD bobcat has a way of rationalizing anything negative with HD, before the game HD was the better overall team , after the game all of the sudden Cushing Texas is the best coached team he’s ever seen in high school football ? Wow . Even his compliments to the other team are back handed comments or rationalizations for HD’s loss. They are good this year and I’m glad for them my dad was all state honorable mention DB for HD in the 80’s my uncle won a state championship in the 70’s with them. But I love to laugh at HD bobcats explanations over the years I can’t help it , at least they’re good now so it’s not as bad but there was a time where they were abysmal and he did the exact same thing , I hate to “attack” someone it’s all fun for me I gotta give it to him he’s the most loyal , and consistent fan for his team on this entire website and he loves his community and his team and the kids that’s awesome and I applaud that but over the last 7 years I’ve been on this site , HD’s opponent , after a loss, was never the better team , there was always something

Changing location from away to home does not "HELP" the ball carriers hold onto the football.

Hard to say. Both teams played cupcakes the first week. Of course HD is a much higher classification than little West Hardin, so numerically alone makes HD the favorite. On the other hand, I heard from a reliable source that this is the year of the Oilers. Should be a good game.

Don't really expect anybody to run away with it in this district. Should be wide open race.

I'm not saying the staff as currently constructed won't work. It's just makes for a interesting dynamic when you have coaches who have won titles answering to someone who has a 5-34 record as a head coach at 2 different schools. If everyone understands their role and isn't concerned with who ultimately gets the credit then it could turn out to be a great staff. Hopefully the days of watching CS getting whipped along the line of scrimmage and being out schemed are over. If the staff gels and there aren't any issues I'd expect CS to be a much better team than they have been the last 3 years.

shepherddad reacted to Woodshed in Diboll
Diboll will open up the season against Bridge City. Bridge City comes in with a new HC so it will be interesting to see how they respond and if the offense changes much with their returning QB. Diboll brings back two bruising RBs and key linemen that will be the key to their success this season.
