BMTSoulja1, I hate to have to point this out to you, but this is a public forum where any member can comment on any post here. This is not a BISD forum, that only BISD people can comment. With that said, I back Flanigan and I agree with NHSBulldog Fan.

Don't agree with this at all.  Atascocita has plenty of talent, some of the best in the area.  But, several other teams do too.  I don't see the same thing yet at Summer Creek.  They had a good run in 4A/5A, but have mostly been crushed by bigger, faster and deeper quality 6A teams.  

I don't know about Stump in the playoffs at Brook, but I have seen what he has done at Atascocita and have to applaud.  They had a fantastic playoff run last season.  They are not as good this season and I don't expect as much.  But, leading up to last season I used to look at all the obvious talent on the Atascocita team and wonder why they weren't a major contender.  Then Stump arrived and now they are.

I hope you are correct and my wife is correct about me being an idiot.

We'll see, I know I'll be cheering on West Brook.

Congrats WB.  Westfield is a really tough draw and will be a heavy favorite.  What I see likely happening is that the Westfield D will be more like The Woodlands D, capable of slowing that awesome WB offense.  But, WB has surprised me more than once this season.  And anytime you have an offense like that, you have a chance.  My prediction 32-22 Westfield.  But, I'll be rooting for WB.

OMG! 69 points in a playoff game. That's crazy! But, a win is a win, and we'll take it. I never would have thought , at the beginning of the season, that we'd be sitting at 11-1, and moving on to the third round of the playoffs. Go Brook !

Yup, we don't have much, you're right.

The success of this year's team, was suppose to be a few years away. West Brook has over achieved, considering we only had 3 returning starters on offense, and 3 on defense. So, for the Bruins to have been this successful, this season, makes me look forward to next season, when the majority of the team will be returning. The Highlanders are still the team to beat, in this district, but I do expect a lot better game, in our match up, next year.

Being a Woodlands fan I have really come to appreciate Beaumont West Brook.  I know we won big against them.  But, everything since that game tells me it was a fluke game for West Brook.  Not that Highlanders won, we would win again, but the scope of the victory.  My bet is that in a rematch it would not be so one sided.  What I've come to appreciate about West Brook is how after such a one sided loss, the Bruins have picked themselves up and beaten some very good teams.  They are 11-1 and deserving of the good press and respect from other teams.  I still think Klein Collins, Cedar Ridge and Westfield are the R2 favorites.  But, I won't be shocked if West Brook pulls off a couple of big upsets.  There are many Highlander fans cheering you on, good luck West Brook. 

Congrats West Brook on last week.  I really didn't know who to pick last week.  Two excellent teams.  I'm with BadSanta, I think West Brook is the clear favorite.  Two TD win is probably about right.  Very proud of how West Brook has played these last few weeks.  They are my dark horse pick in R2 D2.

I think you have to say so. IMO if Westbrook plays in that Garland ISD district they go undefeated just like Sachse did this year. One thing about playoff football is that the running game travels. Problem is that WB has given up some big numbers to teams that can throw it around the yard which LC can. I just think personnel wise WB probably couldn't ask for a better matchup at this point in the season. 

Yes the Bruins should be the favorites. But I'm hearing we have to go all the way to Dallas and play them at DISD Kincade Stadium. Smdh...
