My bad.. EC plays the winner of Troup / Woden

I thought winner of woodville / sabine played EC?

Heck, I even witnessed an official hug a player and tell him not to worry about foul trouble at halftime of a Kountze game.

Anahuac had the chances at the end to win, but made the costly turnovers. Ec had chances to put the game away and could not make free throws. Refs made bad calls both ways but did not decide the game, neither group of fans were happy. It's BASKETBALL

Bobcat sums it up best. IF you want to make something better you should work at it all the time, not just when Your Kids are there. All true success starts with a strong foundation.

Any news on todays game. In their first meeting I heard Crockett won by 50, just can't picture that after having watched both teams play earlier this year. New Waverly may not  as good as in years past, but to lose by 50..

If it is a joke why is EC dumped into this pile? Best I can figure our basketball program is consistantly better than most, along with our football, tennis, UIL, concession stand, and most anything else. ;D ;D GO BUCS

There is a big difference between college and high school. In high school the majority of the students are still minors and coaches are also teachers. College or pros the coaches are the boss and there is a different standard allowed as they are being paid to play. Witnessed a coach and player last year cuss each other on the court, while I realize that the coach may have felt that the in your face confrontation and cussing seemed necessary I thought it was very unprofessional and should have been handled better.

It's a shame that EC and Kountze play such boring games this year  ;)

Anahuac is a better team than most think, and have improved 1000% since the HJ tourney and pre -district. Don't count them out they were the same way last year and Coach West had them peaking at the end of season for playoffs and made a good run.

Should make for a good game friday against EC, both teams are playing well. Hardin won the first matchup at Hardin, now it EC's chance to even the series at home.

Kind of like when y'all played them last week and they took a 17 pont lead then fell apart

This was a very physical and fast paced game. Bucs kept our composure when we were down.  We played as a team and won as a team. Go Bucs !

Whats the word on the HF player that went down in the EC vs HF game? Looked like a possible broke arm.

EC lost a hard fought battle to New Waverly.  They are playing without the injured #21.

Evadale beat Corsicana

EC did not play this morning.  Baytown Lee decided on Christmas day that they couldn't make it to the tourney.  Had to reaarrange things to accomodate the missing team.  EC plays HF tonight.

# 12 for EC had his knee cap dislocated during the EC vs Lumberton game. He had been one of the top scorers and rebounders for the team. Dr Isabell drained it that friday night and he played some the next morning against Kountze and Lumberton but was not at 100% and still is not. Seems the Hawk Tourney is rough on kneecaps, rememmber Ricossa last year.

The big difference between friday and tuesday was a player who was out due to an injury friday but played on tuesday
