This might be the healthiest EC has been since the first snap of the season. The bye week really helped the boys heal now it time to get back to winning football. GO BUCS

Probably Spenser George, I think he went on to play a season in the pro's, and before that there was Flip Johnson he played for Buffalo as a receiver

Now the pressure shifts to Anahuac who has games against Woodville, Newton, and Hardin left, and will probably have to win out to secure a playoff spot. [b]Mighty tough district this year[/b]

Florida's has the best ribs , catfish, homemade pies and cakes of anyplace around. I never pass up a chance to eat there when in Livingston.

He will teach science plus coach. This all came about when asst bb Coach Delord resigned last year, Coaches then had to be shufffled around  when a replacement could not be found for basketball season. The rest is just timing. Coach Hoffpauir's daughter is the Girls bb coach at EC and his granddaughters are just starting school ball there and Kenny recently retired. Since he was hanging around the area and had worked a summer bb camp at the school he was approached to see if he had any desire to assist Coach Andrews and Coach Starnes (his Daughter) with BB and teach science. If you have ever seen his resume you would realize how fortunate EC feels having Kenny back home.

This whole situation came about because Coach Andrews worked a summer camp put on by this Coach and then had him come put on a camp in Winnie. It will be a win /win situation for the kids and both Coachs if everyone else would quit making waves.

Rumor has it that a new assistant coach has been hired to assist Andrews this basketball season. He is someone with a lot of basketball experience and strong ties to EC and Texas High School Basketball.

EC had 4 or 5 fumbles plus 2 interceptions against Kelly and things got completely out of hand. Looks like an ankle sprain for Jones, most likely out for 3 or 4 weeks.

You forgot to mention that EC took the first series down to the five then fumbled and also missed a short field goal as the half ran out. I think it would have been a much different offense with Jones. He injured his ankle on the first series of the game and was able to pass for 4 or five completions while hobbled by an ankle injury. Second string QB never even attempted a pass.

trueblue why is Blaine not playing summer league? Did he do any serious damage to his knee a couple of weeks back?
