Our HF Longhorns are looking good through 3 games so far. I hope they keep it up. They will have two great games versus HH and HJ coming up this week.
Also, this team has great chemistry with each other unlike the team from the last couple of seasons. HF will outright win or share the district title for the first time since I have started following them.

HF has four players still playing football. I believe two of them are starters too. I wish they were playing basketball right now since we play Carthage in football tomorrow. 🤣

Would be a tough out for Silsbee and Lumberton, with gilder out for Silsbee is a huge blow

Also, 2 out of the 3 are back from their injuries. Denson is still not playing yet.
Finally, no disrespect to Livingston, but the fans that thought they could compete for a district championship were way off. HJ, Huffman, and HF are by far the best three teams in this district at full strength.

Down two starters right now and had a terrible shooting performance. 

That is correct.  Coach Davis at HJ advised us earlier this week that the venue had changed due to boys and girls varsities playing at each others' venues instead of all at one venue.
I just hadn't gotten to the schedules to reflect that.
