I believe it will. I know a bunch of the kids. But I'll b happy to ask this question too.can they beat big NED and png ?? I have no clue. Seems like every year they play them close til late in the game.and they get hit in the mouth and don't respond back.i know central beat png a few years ago . But all and all can they beat those 2 teams this year.

And bc of his coaching methods of getting the best out of his kids. They will b a touch task to beat in there district.

Yes I do !! Trying to cut a guy 30yds down field doesn't make sense especially in a scrimmage. Easy way to get rolled up.lol, the guy they should have cut they didn't do it. ND dat was the nose guard Mandel. Bc he gave dat center the business.

I thought some of the vidor guys went to for with the cut blocks 20 and 30 yards down the field.it didn't make sense.we are all from setx.we should be cheering each other on trying to make each other better. Some players can't forget it's just a scrimmage and it doesn't count.i love how vidor was trying to get physical but they have to stay within the limits with some of there cut blocks which doesn't have anything to do with the outcome of a play.beating w.o. in a scrimmage is meaningless but getting better is the objective! !

We all kno that Nederland will come to play.but one of the things I luv abt neumann is that he knows it's all abt his team getting better.and that's one of the reasons why I wouldn't bet against him to win the District. This early in the season u have to favor w.o. bc of there receivers , d-line,and cornerbacks this early in the season will make it tough for Nederland to overcome.

I agree wit u . But it's like this.i cheer for all setx schools.if one thing could change for all our setx teams I wish it be been able to control the line of scrimmage better . football has ND always will b won in the trenches. And I think that's where dfw,Houston, ND east Texas separate them selves from us.take for instant katy.sure they have been great for over 25 plus years . offense never changes. They are gonna run it 85% of the time and teams can't stop it.and on the other side of the ball they are very physical with teams.not to mention Navasota, gilmers,George ranch,Carthage. And i truly luv some of the coaches in our area.and I truly believe that is why w.o. will b able to play for the title again!! Bc one of there strength is the d-line.to go with everything dat makes them a pretty gud team.

Great questions! Timing was off wen jack over threw kj.nd it would have went for 6. Ref blew it dead as soon as he caught it.kicking game will get better.but one of the linebacker inexperience showed on the td run. Went for the bootleg action but it was draw in his gap. ND the safeties had to learn to break on the ball.it !!

Watching them scrimmage Lumberton I think he really concentrated on his o-line . didn't open up the play book at all.i really do believe that the coach from Silsbee knows wat he has at the skill position. But he also knows if u can't protect the qb things will b hard.and I think he really needs to move Barnes around .just lining him up in different positions. One: bc facing png on the road if they can't get to the perimeter on dem kids it will be a long nite. Ns second : wen Silsbee gets ready to play w.o. they will to play him more out the slot bc they do have very gud corners. ND them kids know each other.

I do ! I watch numerous teams play all the time.from Houston to Dallas ND even east texas.ive seen dem play.im not telling that our 5A schools can beat any of those top school. I'm telling u 22--5A are abt equal. ND dey will hav abt 6 teams competing for those 4playoffs spots.if u look at every other district after the first 2 teams the rest of there district are awful .UIL greedy for money.trust me they have some terrible teams out there.

Mr . buddy Garrity they want peak early trust me.they are damn gud !! But they have things to get better at.one: there safeties has to do a better job of breaking on the ball.it was a weakness last year that teams didn't exploit. Just remember that Silsbee game from last yr. Second: there run games has to get better. Running back has no vision!! ND lastnite was a perfect example of dat . instead of getting the 3 or 4 yrd he wanted to bounce it outside every play.u can't look for the big play every down.third:the other linebacker has to grow up real fast . totally lost on the play the kid scored on.he thought the qb rolled out.rb went untouched bc of it.

Well look at it like this:vidor has a ton of kids coming back.central has 10 back on defense. Nederland will b Nederland wit neumann.png will b better defensively. ND there Lil qb will b okay . Lumberton really has been building up there team with this new coach.even after watching them against Silsbee today I really see how those kids are competing. ND with the titans dropping to go wit there defense makes this one very interesting race.i have absolutely no clue who will win this district. Lol, I wouldn't bet against neumann thou.

No. I'm only talking abt with teams in there district. I didn't once say that they beat GR or fosters out of other district. I'm simply saying titans,dogs,indians,jags ,pirates,Raiders will make for an interesting race for the District crown! ! ,

Yes. That district from top to bottom will b so competitive. I just believe on any given night any one of those teams cud beat each other.i know that they are other district out there.like the George ranch and foster. But after the top 2 everything tails off. This year will b one to watch for the District crown. Every team in that district will b better then last year .

And I agree with you. They were out of sink and still found a way to win. I look at Argyle as a team that's discipline and doesn't commit a bunch of turnover. But not an overpowering line and fairly descent defense which can b scored on. I know a few years ago they had a stud running back that was tremendous against Navasota. But still all and all u press cover and bring the bliss that team would have trouble!! Not the most athletic team or speed team either .

Simply saying that wit all the talent that Silsbee has it will be very difficult for dem to pull this game out this early in the season against that team. It will take Silsbee a few more games to gel.when I say matchup looking at the pros ND cons of the game.silibee o-line needs time together.nd the same with the defense and new qb.and the only way that they can get it with game experience. And I truly believe that at the end of the season that Silsbee will b one of the 4 remaining trying to win d1 state title.

Wow !! It's no disrespect to Silsbee. ND I truly hope the kid is ok. Come September wen they do meet. Mark my words that the d-line will b dominant! I've watched w.o for over 30 yrs ND this defense will go down as one of da best for there era !!
