Dallas won't travel, so they get rewarded with home games.

Yes. I’ll try to let all know ahead of time if they’re going to have all the pregame tailgating w/food trucks, restaurant tents, etc.
If you like the horseshoe college stadiums, you should like the new Bulldog. The players should also like the new wood chip filled turf. Supposed to be much cooler than rubber, better traction, and less injury prone.
Just don’t miss the left turn into the stadium complex, or you’ll literally drive into Galveston Bay. 😱

This is good advice. Not not just for cops, but anyone who writes. Writers should always say what they’re saying in the simplest, most direct way. Avoid jargon, filler words, etc. “It should be noted” is a great example. I also love “detained in handcuffs” when “I handcuffed him” would be more direct. I think people — Even experts — are afraid to write simply, as if that would betray a lack of expertise or professionalism. The truth is the opposite. A straight line is the shortest distance between two points, and a good sentence is the shortest distance to an idea. I enjoyed your write up.

Yes it would be a felony in Texas if the blade was over 5.5” and on school grounds. Texas did away with restrictions on the length of a legal knife as long as it isn’t in a restricted location such as a bar, school grounds, etc., or basically anywhere that you could not lawfully carry a handgun.
So a person can walk down the street with a Roman broadsword on his side and it is legal. Going to a bar or on school grounds with a 5.75” blade and it’s a felony.
That is a no on the Capital Murder. It is not merely committing another felony that makes it Capital Murder but certain felonies. Examples are during a robbery, sexual assault, kidnapping, murder for hire, etc..

Moebes did a pretty decent job at Abilene Cooper....3rd round 5 of 7 years....couldn't ever get past Aledo although came close....
Lockhart's a tough, tough place......Moebes is a Katy guy, played for Katy, coached at Katy...there's Katy people in admin at Huntsville..there's the connection

Getting close to wrapping up....final round may have been today....my sources say either a current Houston area 6A HC or the internal candidate....
I know a head coach in the Lubbock area interviewed and a coordinator from a powerhouse in NE Texas who had ties to Huntsville also were among the candidates who interviewed

The Bulldogs had a good defensive end that some called a LB’er, however he was a defensive end. One of the LB’ers was decent, but the smaller one was not good(I don’t know if I ever saw him make a tackle). He started but looked like he was afraid of contact. He must have started after the one they said was good got hurt in the 1st game and was out the remainder of the season
I am sure they had some good moments but nothing great. Certainly didn’t play well vs Texas High, Huntsville, Montgomery, Silsbee, or Lake Creek. The defense was pretty poor in those games!

Rez reacted to AggiesAreWe in Willie Ray Smith Award Finalists
For starters, Hamshire-Fannett QB Ty Bryson passed for 3527 yards and 42 TD's while leading his team to district championship and 2nd round of the playoffs.
Thomas had 2089 yards rushing and 24 TD's on a 4th place team that was eliminated in 1st round.
Personally (and I do have a vote) it's down to those two for me for offense.

Hearing through the grapevine that BH has in fact hired @Reagan to be their next coach. He's signed a 7-year contract, but will only accept 190K a year until he wins his first championship. Super gets to name the starting lineup for pre-district games only, plus one quarter per game in district.
