Can be scored on like Manvels or Crosbys was. Their O is the killer. They went toe to toe with Manvel before barely edging them out. That was without Hornsby. With him they win by a couple scores probably. If we can manage, the best scenario for us is it turns into a crosby like game where we trade scores

That game was close. When i got there it was a single score game and 8 mins later marshall has 50 plus points. Towards the end it looked like ned just wanted to go home and get out of there. Ned doesnt have any one star playmaker on O like last year in Latulas and it showed here and against us. No big play guy. Unless kade scott is a D1 prospect coming back from injury and  can run through people like the next big setx thing, its gonna be hard to beat teams who can put up points. I think simmons the past 2 years was Better than any the backs they have now. Their wrs are no connor perkins and latulas either. Those boys could ball.

Roschon may have 800 yards and 8-9 tds against them. We just couldbt stop them at all. 2018 college station and 2016 Pam and 2017 texas city did the best jobs imo in that order

Most of my dad's side is from East Texas. None of them think Lindale can score with PN-G. 

Precisely. Every rb needs to hit the hole regardless of type of back. Otherwise you allow it close and you get stuffed. That's what holes are for and why there are blocking schemes. You can be a scat back all you want but if you don't read and get to your spot, you will just end up dancing around the line of scrimmage

Totally agree. The hole is only there for X number of seconds.

Not taking a shot at the kid. He needs no defending from me. Since he was playing hurt, I understand not hitting the hole with confidence.    Still, if you live between the tackles, that hole needs to be hit. I like #7.

My father-in-law is a Longview native and currently lives in Henderson.  He is in agreement with your fam on this one.  Lindale can score the football but not explosive like Shug and the boys.  Their defense is suspect as well (ours has been this way at times this season but playing better as of late).  I think our D steps up, creates a couple of turnovers, and we capitalize on those.  I look for the teams to feel each other out early, but then PNG putting the pedal down and not stopping.
