LOL...You can tell who loves them some AAU on this thread TXHOOPS. There will always be exceptions to every rule, but by and large, what they are saying is true. Ie. the lack of defense & fudamentals being taught. I do agree with winwin though about it being better than sitting at home doing nothing. The good ones will get in the weight room, and train on the court to improve their skills through drill work. Summer games (better with your HS team) is just one component.

If those guys were better than Jaylen, then they would have been starting ahead of him the last couple of years correct? It's not all about who can shoot the best from the PG position. Nederland is a better team WITH Jaylen no doubt. To think otherwise is naive. Will they still have a good season without him? Yes.

He was capable to breaking the press without much help, able to control tempo, and get them into their offense vs pressure. You people minimizing the loss of 3 year starter is laughable.
