1. Anyone interested in going to see if these Horns can hang with Baylor, I have 4 tickets for sale at half price ($50 each) plus a parking pass.  Trying to unload these before Saturday rolls around.     Message me today.
2. Ok...How about "In God we Trust" which 1st appeared on US currency in 1864.  Same principle.  This country was founded on the Christian faith.
3. From the founding fathers, "One nation under God."  Not Allah..Not Buddha...God.     This is from which our nation was founded, and built.
4. Where is all of the condemnation for ISIS? Or is the world too focused on Israel defending themselves?
5. Went to Heavy's BBQ in Hondo, Tx over the summer. I can see why they got such a good rating in Texas Monthly magazine. The brisket was excellent. BTW, does anyone have any good brisket recipes or techniques they would like to share?
6. PhatMack sure seems interested about what's going on down in Austin.
7. Where are all the purple & gold fans today? Just received as Texas-sized butt whooping. SEC once again overrated. At least you have the Aggies now LOL
8. LOL. Any LSU fans chanting SEC! today? Those 2 fan bases deserve each other.
9. So we did not descend from the more primitive hominids such as Aripithecus, Australopithcanes, and Neanderthals?  That would be a contrary view to what most scientists (and the general public) currently believe to the true.  Can't deny the evidence.  One day the Big Bang and Human Evoluation will no longer be considered just theories (most people already believe in them now).
10. Who's worried?  I find the discoveries about our universe and planet very interesting.  And I'm not trying to disprove God or discredit the Bible.  I just wanted JV_Coach's opinion on the Big Bang as it relates to his views of Christianity and the Bible.  I know he takes the stories of the Bible literally, but picks and chooses what be believes about science (such as evolution & dinosaurs).  I would think that as science continues to progress, the gap between what the Bible says, and what scientist say will continue to widen.  Just something to think about.
11. It didn't come from Fox, but it was reported by Fox and Space.com and many other websites.  It came from a team of leading scientists including those from Harvard and Caltech.
12. The Big Bang may be moving beyond the theory stage according to many of today's scientists.  My question for JV Coach is what is his beliefs in regards to the Big Bang Theory?  And how it relates to the Bible (if it does at all)?  And please don't quote scripture.  Let's provide some measurable data or information.        [Hidden Content]
13. Have an 8th grader (going to 9th) that is looking for an aau team this spring & summer. Good athlete that has played guard & wing positions.
14. All those prized recruits and Bama still got rolled by little ole Oklahoma.  And you're "best" sec team goes down to the little ole ACC and Florida St.  But atleast you winning the mythical recruiting war lol.
15. Let's see.  Lumberton was one game from making the playoffs this year (prob much better than most predicted), and the coach gets fired?  He has also done a good job building the under levels of the basketball program.  Coach Wueller has put them in contention to be playoff contenders for the foreseeable future, and he is replaced by a girl's coach with no experience on the boy's side?  Sounds like a good 'ole boy network hire to me.  I hope the AD will hold himself to the same standard that he has Coach Wueller.
16.

AAU does not develop talent...it showcases it.
You should never expect AAU or high school to develop your talent
That is exactly what your high school coach is there to do, among other things. But you are right, the player is ultimately in control of how much time & energy he puts into his development.
17. This thread is about Best Single Game Performance You Witnessed...not how many MVPs does Lincoln have compared to PNG.  Stay on topic DickieV.
18. Joel LaFluer from PNG score 50 on Nederland in 1992.  Believe he was MVP of the District that year that included Lincoln and Silsbee.
19. Jaime Weaver from Nederland???  Didn't he go to the University of Houston and play with Phi Slamma Jamma?
20. Where is Nederland, PNG, HJ, BC starting 5?
21. Kelvin McKyer was the best player on that state championship team.
22. It's the off-season so lets have some fun.  Who is your school's all-time starting 5.  Let's set the criteria for how they played in high school, and secondly how the played after high school.  I'm sure some the the schools will have some good debates for the starting 5.  Lincoln?  Silsbee?  Ozen?  Central?  HJ?  Be prepared to backup your argument.
