What is the situation with Lumberton?
I like them right where they are but is there any chance the might move up?It will be close. A few of the more knowledgeable with historical growth percentage and Current numbers said no they should stay.

Honest question - what do you mean by limited QB running game? I thought the new QB is supposed to be a strong runner.
In scrimmages just like practice qb hits other than aoft contact are off limits

He's a storng runner. If it's last week, he'll be wearing red jersey. Whistles blown on touch. Except for that one play where he got into the Bobcats secondary and took a big hit.
Usually he's giving the hits. Lol

That's great, they can stay in Orange County til August 26th. 😁
Be glad it's png. Not Pam. Either way lcm wins both with underclassmen 🫡

We don't need to get any more kids hung up looking for a better education lol

How is that possible? I believe the UIL sets the numbers. Lets not ignore the fact that LCM is scrimmaging a significantly smaller school and not dominating. That should be a red flag for what is to come in district play.
That's what I'm trying to say. On the football field tonight OF numbers was not significantly smaller in my opinion

Is the running back who is ineligible until the playoffs playing for LCM?
Did not see him

LCM 15 yrd TD Pass. PAT good.
20-6 Bears.
Both these teams are well coached should be in great position come playoffs. Bears are very balanced offense and weren't fooled by the slot T. Orangefield playing up 2 divs and it shows that the still need some experience in the backfield. Lots of fumbles and slips.
There still playing but I'm out. Good luck to both my neighbors this season. Nice to see the stadium lights on again. My first trip back to Bear country in 25 years. Can they get rid of the community horse troughs in the restrooms?
OF is a bigger school than they get credit for. Lcm didn't have many more kids.

That's great work to hold lumberton to 3. Scrimmage or not

Your probably right the district is soft.: If the running back doesnt get to play until week 9 i think its going to be a long year. Just imo. Losing morris will be big loss. Look at The Qb Situation last year when Ashton Landry graduated. Morris had to carry the load. They should beat HJ and BC. But i believe they lose to Vidor WoS kinkaid and spring and Lumberton. Question marks will be huffman, Livingston and spendora. So maybe 5–5 at best. We will see how good they are against PNG
Not huge on coulda would shouldas..... but the qb this year should've seen more playing time alot earlier in the season last year in my opinion.. dont even want to get into the historical lumberton wave in the lcm thread.
District is wide open.

Lets just say another WOS transfer wont beable to play to week 9 of the season. It will pretty much be over. He was going to be the work horse for LCM
I look forward to watching #16 at qb. He refuses to go down and had what seemed like yards everytime he ran the ball.. when you have a qb running at people like that. That fires a team up
Last yr only 1 loss in JV and undefeated freshman team should churn better than a 2 win season I would like to think lol

I don't think that matters for sports purposes - I *heard* that at least one WOS transfer recently got blocked by the other district head coaches.
If true, sounds like the coaches were after the kids best interests. 🤥🤥

If u knew who I was then u know I get it straight from the kids!! No guessing.these kids are working hard.trying to get better.and they will.but, if they were running the 50 defense where they're shooting gaps.and bringing pressure off the edge.would make a huge difference.and I can say this one of the coaches is going so far as to helping alot of the kids.even on Saturday he has been picking them up and working with them.so,they're trying to get better.
I bet the new coach has his hands cuffed by the superintendent. You think CT did that? No... probably similar situation crouch faced with previous LCM supt....
I have heard several times. They (higher admin) wanted change which included a new type of defense or whatever changes necessary to make CTs footprint a past thought. If I'm guessing they'll never run the legendary 50 defense again.

As for I know, yes. Not sure if it's from week 1. But I don't know of any reason he would be held out. Did he play any games for LCM last season? Or does that even matter?
Only JV

Someone correct me if I'm out of line. But I guess the channel 6 guys are ok with being mediocre

Winning is the best recruiting tool. 😁
Win lose or draw the atmosphere and culture he is creating is lightyears better for the kids and community. I think at this point his overall coaching record speaks for itself for the ones who call him a dud... the mouth will say anything

They definitely all try to pull in kids from other schools. I think maybe others are smoother and quieter about it, though. This kid leaving mid season and showing up at the cross town school the next day is just a bad look. Bad on the kid as well. Doesn't seem like a very loyal kid. If I were the WOS coach I wouldn't allow him to play.
I agree. That's a fine line on what kind of message that sends to the team. But. I already know what the new WOS leader will say. In my opinion probably opposite of what CT would do.
