  1. Like I said in another post, HF needs to play better fundamentally. They have some talent, they just need to get it together. This is the last game some of these Seniors will play so they need to go out on a winning note. I predict HF takes this one on the road HF - 28 BC - 21
  2. Ouch! That hurts!!! yeah it does but he, she or it, is right. So here it is I going to stop with the excuses and lay it out there. We obviously do not have the talent or coaching to keep up with the big boys in a our district. WOS & Silsbee will always have talent year end & year out, they do not rebuild they just reload. HF needs to play better fundamentally to overcome what they lack in talent. This years team although somewhat talented is fundamentally flawed, to many costly penalties, turnovers, along with a serious lack of execution, discipline and leadership gave this team no chance. There I said it I hope this made all of you HF haters happy.
  3. HJ has not even played Silsbee yet, your facts are wrong
  4. I have seen both teams in person, and from what I have seen this game will not be that close. Silsbee has to much size and speed for HJ. Take away a few key errors on HF's part they might have beat HJ, can not say the same for the Silsbee game. IMO, Silsbee will dominate HJ from start to finish. Silsbee - 35 HJ - 14
  5. The Horns are still without Cameron Burrell & Hagan Daigle, might as well say Dustin East as he is basically playing with one knee. This team has not been the same since these players went down to injuries early in the season. These three athletes were the unquestionable leaders of the team. Take that with the devastation suffered from IKE, have taken allot out of these kids emotionally. With that being said Hats off to Silsbee that played a great game, Lord knows they have had some distractions to overcome. I hope the Horns can end the season on positive note with a victory over the Cardinals this Friday night. Good Luck Horns
  6. Sure, you're tied at the top right now, but after the next two Fridays, you'll no longer be there. And before you go running your mouth about "but...but...at least we're going to playoffs", there is nothing sure yet. It's all but over. HF is looking at a long road to get to the playoffs, but to think that right now you playoffs wrapped up, makes you look like the... Horndawg do not worry, while HJ will more than likely make it to the Playoffs they will GO ONE & DONE. They will have to play Coldspring or Cleveland. Cleveland has already spanked them pretty good at the beginning of the season.
  7. No offense but the Horns have given them several reasons to last few weeks.
  8. HF is a Jeckel & Hyde team, good one week bad the next. We played a bad game last week, so this week we should be good. HF - 28 HJ - 27
  9. Wow what a beat down, I realistically new we would lose but had no idea it would be in this fashion. It is now painfully obvious that the Horns were not prepared physically or mentally for the game. I think this will go down in the record books as the worst defeat in HF school history. We being HF fans and athlete's have no right being upset at the score being run up so high. Back in our Hay Days in the 90's we did the same thing to other schools. WOS is not to blame if their 2nd & 3rd String players are better than our 1st String. I doubt we could beat WOS JV the way our players and coaches performed Friday Night. I hope this type of a loss does not have an adverse effect on the team, instead I hope we learn from this and rebound for a possible playoff berth. GoodLuck to both teams this week.
  10. I keep hearing this Jacoby Turner is HJ's stud, I thought Trey Burrell was the man? Is Trey injured or ineligible.
  11. Good Game lady Horns, way to make us HF fans proud. Keep up the Good Work. Remember take it one game at a time, do that and you will be successful.
  12. HF HORNS SHOCK THE KNOWN WORLD, TAKE DOWN THE MIGHTY MUSTANGS IN A BATTLE FOR THE AGES. HF - 35 WOS - 34
  13. WOS SILSBEE HF/HJ if HF can put two good halves together against HJ I think we have a shot at taking the 3rd place slot, if not HJ takes it hands down.
  14. HFMS 7th grade vs OFMS 7th grade B Team: Bobcats 20 Horns 6 A Team: Horns 6 Bobcats 0 I Do not know the results of the 8th grade, I had to leave
  15. Wow the Horns got smoked. I realize several of the good players moved up to varsity but I thought we would have played OF better than this. Sure hope this is not a sign of things to come. GoodLuck next week Horns.
  16. This could be a really good game if both teams playup to Par. I will give the edge to HJ as the seem to peaking a little more than BC right now.
  17. Stangs, win this one rather easily WOS - 35 Silsbee - 21
  18. IMO, the Stangs are in a league of their own right now. They should win this one rather easily
  19. HF HORNS NIP BOBCATS, KEEP PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE
  20. Is Burrell and Daigle coming back this week? If so, I'll definitely take HF in this one. HF is suppose to be getting Daigle, Bell & Scully back this week. Burrell I beleive will be out for at least a few more weeks.
  21. HF gets a couple of key guys back this week. So I will say HF in a close one HF - 21 OF - 17
  22. From what I was told we should have most of the injured back this week with exception to Cameron Burrell, he could be back in a few more weeks.
  23. What they failed to mention as they were going up against 2nd string & JV Players. I am not saying the outcome would not have been the same with our starters but they would not have put up those kind of numbers on them.
  24. This was a really ugly game for HF from the Start. I am not making any excuses because LG was the better team however you can not make as many mistakes as HF did and expect to win. Also HF was playing with a depleted secondary, 3 of our 4 Starters back there were out with injuries. Not to take anything away from LaGrange they are really good. They Run the Spread out of a Two QB system, both QB's are excellent passers. They have at least Two receivers that should be IMO D1 prospects. HF did stuff their running game, they could not run on us at all. Lagrange has an excellent, well disciplined team and should do well this year. HF needs to get something going on Offense or this will be a long District Season. Good News for HF fans, I hear that we could get some of our injured players back for that start of district. Good Luck to both schools.
  25. I think this will be a very good game, I am going to stick with my 21-3A brethren in close one. TIGERS - 31 DAWGS - 28
