  1. I think it is a real mean spirited thing to do, he is a person with a Professional leadership role. He most of all knows you do not toy with people's lives like this. I think he should be held accountable for his actions. Kudos to the Coach for taking his name out of the running. He sounds like a MAN OF HONOR, unlike this Burley Character.
  2. I heard from one of the players that they are looking at 3 players to Step into the QB Role. One of them is Cameron Burrell who was the QB for the upcoming Senior Class, another is Jake Manildi the Soph QB. they brought up from JV last year and finally they are giving Hagan Daigle some consideration, rumor has it he has a pretty good arm. There is another young man who's names escapes me I think his last name is Keonig or something like that.
  3. I'm with you RedHead, HF should be able to contend for a playoff spot this year. I wonder who is going to step up and QB. I would like to see Cameron, he was the QB for this Senior Class.
  4. I agree with you, this seems like an alignment everyone could live with. However eventually the smallerschools would face some of the Power House Big Schools in the playoffs.
  5. Post want you want but if I were you I would be careful. Any mention of harm coming to a schoolcould come back to haunt you. Even things said in fun are taken very serious by the authorities.

  7. Like I said in the All District Post, HF will have a good Nucleus of Talent returning. Our strong point will no doubt be on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively will are still looking pretty good, I believe half of this years offense will be returning. The only thing that hurts is the holes we will have to fill on the OL and we will need someone to step up and play QB. The little Soph. we had playing at the end of the year is quick, but I have reservations about how durable he will be as well as the accuracy of his passes. All in all HF should be competitive.
  8. They had good size however I beleive two of them had no varsity experience, I think they were overated due to their size. That is one of the areas HF will be hurting at next year along with the QB position. We are losingthe majority of our "O" Line as well as our QB. We will get back most of our skill players and most of our defense. All in All I think we will have a good team next year. Who knows we might even have a shot at the playoffs.
  9. HF is looking pretty good for next year. They will have at least 7 All Districts picks back for next year. The returning Senior class have been winners since they were in JR High school, hopefully that will carry over. Although the traditional PowerHouse's will have plenty of returning talent I still hold out hope that HF can make the playoff with the team they have returning. One thing is for sure "Time will Tell". Again thanks 21-3A for another great year.
  10. Congrats to all, especially the HF Horns that made it. Looks like we will have good nucleus of players back next year. I believe we will have at least 7 All District picks back. Thanks 21-3A for another great year of High School Football.
  11. Man these jokers from Whaaco La Vega must be Ex-Branch Davidians. They have too be, as they have no idea what type of athletes WOS is going to unleash on them. Whaaco La Vega might have several skilled athletes but I would venture to say they have not faced an opponent where everyone is a skilled athlete. One thing is for sure, they will Friday night. Good Luck Stangs represent 21-3A well. HF Horn country is pulling for you.
  12. If memory serves me well, I beleive they have Won State in 3A at least once. So they must have pretty good program. I hope the Eagles make it all the way. Good Luck may you represent the area well. The HF Horns are pulling for you.
  13. Man all this talk from 22-3A has me thankful there is a "NO MERCY RULE" in Texas HS FB. My fellow 21-3A opponents will have the folks from 22-3A in Austin Lobbying for one after this weekend. Good Luck to the WOS Stangs, KV Kats & Jasper Dawgs may you Rep. 21-3A well.
  14. YEAH just like HF had no chance of beating Silsbee this year. People fail to realize that HF has not had Coach Mangan on Staff for less than a year. We have a ton of talent coming back next year and with a full yearand a off season under his belt he will cure what is ailing HF. Look for them to be in the mix for the playoffs for the next few years.
  15. Its okay HFMOM we all know what the real story is over here in 21-3A. As for Splendora they will not get the spanking from Jasper that HF gave them, Jasper will go a little further and slapem like the "PUNK BEACHES" they are.
  16. If Cleveland has any kind of passing game they can hang with Kirbyville for awhile, if not KVille wins this one big. In HF's loss to Kville our QB had a carrer night and we are not a passing team. With that being said I think Kville still gets the "W".
  17. Hey KITTYKATS here is a little something your momma and daddy should have taught you: " MESS WITH THE BULL AND YULL GET THE HORNS " Go HF beat them Kats.
  18. I believe everyone has healed w/ exception to one of our starting LB, I believe we lost him for the season. He is a Jr. hopefully he will play next year. He is a very good LB.
  19. Amen Brother, or are you a Sister either way it does not matter because you are correct. I am positivethat Jasper would have beat them, had they not faced them so early.
  20. HF has a playoff caliber team, when they play for 4 qtrs. That is what I meant by playoff form. I would argue that they would make the playoffs in just about any other distrcit in the state. They just so happen to play in what is arguably one the toughest districts in the state and yes they can still make playoff, all be it with some help from Silsbee.
  21. 3 Way Showdown for last 21-3A Playoff Berth By: Hornsfan86 The Upstart HF Longhorns edge KV 35 to 34, Tigers maul the Dawgs 38 to 20 to set the stage for a "coin toss" to break the 3-way tie. A Neutral site to be determined by school officials.
  22. I hope Kirbyville does too then maybe my Horns can pull off an upset.
  23. Well lets hope the Lord is listening to our prayers and grants us a playoff berth.
