I really think if HF plays the way we are capable of playing we can win this game. However HF seems to being playing a little sloppy right now and that can't happen against this much improved Bobcat team. HF - 35 OF - 28

Jasper has really good team that is starting to come into its own, however they commit alot of penalties. I think the team that keeps these mental errors to a minimum will win this game.

Congrats Jasper you really put it on my Horns. I find hard to believe that Jasper has as many losses as they do, they have a really big, fast & talented team. I going out on a limb hear and projecting them as one of the 21-3A playoffs reps. As for my Horns, I know this was a disappointing loss however we still have a chance at getting in the playoffs so keep your heads up. Good Luck to both teams this week.

Skipper, sorry but I do not see the Tigers being able to stop the WOS running game. Mark my words when they run to the right look out because the really bring it. As for the passing game if the QB's passes are on target get ready for a long night. They are also really sound in special teams. I do think the Tigers can move the ball on WOS, however it won't be enough. Take it from someone that has seen both teams play. WOS is couple of notches better than the rest of the teams in 21-3A. The JV was handed their first defeat to the tune of 27 to 6. It was 21 - 0 at half, so they made a game of it the 2nd half. I hope the varsity pays heed.

Hear we ago again another dad gum spread offense. I hope HF is ready, we had one of our 3 year starters in the defensive backfield go down with a knee injury last week against Silsbee. I do not think it was a major injury however any injury is not good. I hope he is feeling better and recovers quickly.

He sure has and hope he has them prepared for this week. Jasper is coming in thinking they are the Under Dawgs and that scares me. Nothing worse than playing a very talented and well coached team with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove.

HF is in must win game against Jasper. I would like to have that "warm and fuzzy" feeling that we control our own destiny, not someone else.

I can not speak for the rest of the classifications, however Walt Mangan in his first year at 21-3A HF gets my vote. He has brought back the HF pride and winning tradition that we have enjoyed in the past and hopefully well into the future. He stepped into a really tough distict and now has our kids poised for a shot at the playoffs, not an easy feate given the competition. Good Luck Coach Mangan and please stay on at HF for a while.

I think HF will be okay, we faced this same kind of speed and offense against WOS and Silsbee and seemed to matchup pretty good. Contrary to popular belief, HF has a little bit of speed themselves. I think it will be a close game like last year.
