Region III DOMINATES Friday and Saturday.  4-0!!!!  Fort Bend County only county in the state with 2 state champs.  dfw goes 0-fer on Friday and Saturday, who says hosting the state tournament doesn't matter.  Make the dfw teams travel and they get blasted.  Congrats WOS, GRHS, North Shore and Katy!  Way to hold down the fort.

IMO the state game was played last week against the Cuero Globblers they were a better match-up with WOS. Celina was not the team that I thought they would be, even with their starting QB under center. Yesterday's game was just a bonus for us to pick up our trophy.

These two clowns are lucky they have a job in broadcasting.  WO-S has only missed the playoffs twice in 30+ years and they have the nerve to call them underachievers #clowns

I will agree with that, but "IF" Tony Romo wasn't hurt, the Cowboys would be going to playoffs. "IF" Pete Rose didn't bet on baseball, he would be in the Hall of fame. "IF" Nelson Cruz would've caught that fly ball, the Rangers would've won the World Series that year. Get my drift?

WO-S did us all proud.   East Texas and DFW talk constant trash about how much better they are than us in SE Texas.  Let this championship show all of our programs it can be done. What does WO-S have this year that put them over the top?   They believe they can win, heck they believe they better win.  They don't play for moral victories they play for trophies.  I get excited when SE Texas brings home State titles in baseball, basketball or even track, but nothing, in my book, compares to winning a Texas high school football championship!
Congrats again Mustangs, you guys earned it.  Can't wait to see who steps up next in our area to bring home the crown.   We have the talent.

You are right, they didn't make it out of the region for two years.  But nobody else in the state beat these two teams either.  You go to region finals and lose to the state champion, that aint too shabby.  You talk like a man with a wooden neck.  The Mustangs play whoever is next, they have no say who it is.  If you make it to THE game it really doesn't matter does it.  Take off the mask, your Argon bottle is getting low.

This is quite funny. I was the one who used the term "watered down" and my point in the original post was that WOS won their State Titles both when the playoffs WEREN'T as watered down AND in a larger classification, UNLIKE Gilmer, Navasota and Celina so you are essentially backing up my opinion. For the record I support Ozen ,but have a different perspective than ozenfinest .WOS in my opinion, should win, based on how they have dominated in the playoffs.They are the only local team remaining, with opportunity to win a state football championship.With that being said. you all have my support, and I will be there to cheer you on as though it was Ozen, in hopes you would do the same for us being a local team with the opportunity to do something only 1 school in each division has a chance to do, WIN THAT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.In conclusion, don't put all Ozen supporters in one group,and we won't put all WOS supporters in one group, we all have our own opinion, GO WIN STATE WOS.
