Nederland is going to have to start scheduling Hardin, Warren, and Sabine Pass to get some wins. They are about as bad as last year.  I still can’t figure out how you get worse as the season progresses

BC, LCM and Lumberton would be better...the dogs haven't dropped that low. Then again you go from one extreme to the other 🙄

  2. Hated to see this, the merger hasn't aged well, you could always count on Central to bring the smoke a few years ago. I understand the political complaints are still there. Time to clean house and bring in a AD whose only purpose is to rebuild. If BU announced a HC position they ought to get flooded with applicants dying to take that talent pool to the next level. Where's LN at? He done with retirement? Someone to turn this program around. Stacked with talent but no leadership, hope BU turns it around.

They definitely would’ve still got the win, but would not have scored as many points.  Plus Nederland game only looks closer than it really was because of the two late TDs…all in all..PA dominated that game.  See…it has to be understood that we that speak out are not saying the team itself is bad or plays bad.  They play to the best of their ability game in game out.  We know that.  It’s just the play calling that kept Memorial from scoring more points last week.  It could be troublesome come playoff time if they divert back to the way they called last weeks game.  BUT… As I stated in the other comment…that was much improved last night.

I didn't see the last two TDs  I know at point Ned was up 12-0 (which for some reason they like to do and then lose)

hopefully PAM doesn't lose out, they seem to take an early exit come playoff time?

One thing that hurt PNG was having our star LT sit out and moving our center to LT. Not to take away from Nederland or PAM's performance. PAM will get both Nederland and PNG ready for our tough district.

Yup yup, just curious why the PAM fans were so upset after getting a win.

they acted like they played horribly so it made me speculate a bit on the same type of performance. Y'all's LT back?

    I've predicted Ned's first 4 possessions.

Run left, QB keeper, long pass dropped, punt...

QB keeper, run right, long pass over thrown, punt...

Long pass (incomplete), long pass (incomplete), short pass complete, punt...

    Long Pass (Intercepted-Pick-6)

You dont have enough "run da ball!" in there actually

    Or "overthrows his intended receiver"

However the last line was dead accurate for last year

All joking aside the run game has stepped up so far (I only have WOS to go off of) and I like what I see, after last year it was a relief to see Nederland up 20-8 at one point.

  6. Here's my advice:

there's a kid named Turner- don't let him run

if LCM has a QB that can haul the mail use him cause Sunday had a hay day for a while there

play 4 quarters, Nederland had a 20-8 lead at one point and needed 41 points to win

those WOS lineman are huge and will wear down throughout the night so conditioning is a must......that's about all I got

oh and WOS had many self inflicted penalties so pray they have those again if you wanna win

  7. Nederland needs to sit down and look at its self in the mirror and face reality, truth is none of the guys want to play for a certain  coach (JS) so they quit as we saw last year, mostly senior level players were gone. I think its the same this year, also the coaching (play calling) hasn't been the best. Nederland had talent over the LN era but how many times did we hear the words "the other team is faster and stronger but they are simply getting out coached?" we heard it time after time cause LN was a boss of a coach. That's gone and I feel because MB was under LN for so long the administration felt he was gonna follow in his path and that hasn't been the case.

At some point....the booster and the sponsors who donate are going to want answers and Nederland being a bottom district team isn't gonna fly.  A programs future is only one bad leadership decision away.

That's my two pennies at least
