#2 best player I see on that team, but not near enough to compete at a high level. Game with HF should be interesting. Good chance to see what the head coach can really do.

Lumberton is losing every coach on the staff except 2 coaches, that in itself is going to make it difficult to compete. Nederland, PNG,Central, PAM. Top of this district.

Nederland is the best coached team in the district, they will be in the hunt for DC year in and year out. Lumberton and Livingston fighting to stay out of the cellar.

Surely someone isn't serious when they say a guy that had a great college as well as a long and prosperous pro career couldn't cover a guy that has no offers? This board has lost it.

Best program in the area. That is a great accomplishment in a very tough district year in and year out.

If it is Mackey, that would be an outstanding hire for the Eagles. Hope that info is correct.

Spoonbill your post are comical. Creduir, D. Davis, Luttrell, Ramsey, Stewart, Gatlin. Just a few names of coaches that moved on. So I would say they have lost some good men that were great coaches. My two cents and my opinion.

I don't think it is about intimidation, it is about doing what is best for the team. If a coach makes a decision on what he thinks is best for the team then that is what should take place, anything against that decision is a selfish individual act, that no teammate would respect. If this young man has an opportunity to play at the next level, his every move will be dictated, and if he doesn't fulfill those expectations he will be sent home and replaced with another guy that will do what is expected.

Tip of the cap to Coach Davis. Good to see coaches do what is right, it's a team game, if you want to be an individual and be selfish go play poker. Great job Coach.
