Huge get for Tech. Maybe that's why he ran off all of the other QB's.

@max_olson: Texas Tech lands ESPN's No. 1 dual-threat QB @Jarrett_Stidham. Impressive athlete, huge get http://t.co/nFCWmh3fRH

A&M has always had players that smoked as has most every other team in the country. They have just had a few get caught in the last year. Selling your soul for football wins in a joke. 66% of LSU's starting backfied last year were convicted sex offenders. I guess I would rather my players smoke pot than rape people, but that's just me. Also the TCU scandal mentioned above was not for pot. They were selling meth and other hard drugs.

That Baylor team you are talking about got smoked by a 7-6 Texas A&M team 55-28. RG3 wouldn't have wanted to be on the same field as that LSU team.

LSU's wins in 2011 were against #3 Oregon, #25 Miss St, #16 West Virginia, #17 Florida, #19 Auburn, #2 Alabama, #3 Arkansas, and #12 Georgia. Baylor beat 2 ranked teams. You picked a terrible comparison ......

On a serious note- The general contractor hired for the job was well known for building schools and municipal buildings, but not football stadiums to this magnitude.

The GC also went to the penn for tax evasion so his son took over the company. Lawyers are auditioning right now to represent Allen ISD.

I heard Allen is moving their home games to College Station next year so Kyler Murray could get used to playing in front of the 12th man. Must be another one of Sumlin's gadgets.

God told him to leave the combine and not workout and he would be selected by the Seattle Seahawks. Hmmmm let me know how that one works out for him.

2 starters and the #1 athlete out of La. Sumlin needs to get the College Station police on board if he wants to win National Titles. Maybe he could get Rick Perry to legalize pot.

Do you think Chuck's stance on recruiting juniors is a good idea?

    Over/under JFF's 40 time is 4.55 seconds

    Clowney is the same

You can actually bet on this stuff.

Addidas is also paying $100k to the fastest 40 time by a player wearing their shoes. That's worth a shot if you are fast.

I guess I develop more of a personal relationship with my players than some coaches. I actually care what happens to these kids when they are done playing for me. If your kid commits 100% to me, I will do the same no matter how much eligibility you have left. That relationship last a lifetime and we still have former players that we see around town and try to help out via jobs or whatever. I just don't think I would be able to look myself in the mirror each morning knowing that I didn't do my absolute best to help a young kid out if I had the opportunity.

They applied for a waiver to have the game offsite and was denied by the NCAA. What a joke. I can't think of a better reason to grant the waiver than your field not being usable. Somehow they let Ohio State play at the Bengals stadium last year when they were redoing part of their stadium. The NCAA doesn't make much sense.
