A couple of teams in the NFL needed a face to their franchise and Cleveland is one of them. Houston not so much. Johnny is one of the most famous athletes in the country and he's never played a down in the NFL. Cleveland should use that fame, but the Browns have never been accused as a smart organization.

Lots of young guys on that list. The future looks bright in the triangle. I would bet not too many freshman have been named MVP of this district over the years.

36 players declared for the draft early and did not get drafted. Now they have no degree and most likely no job.

I wonder how many of those 36 would go back go college if they had the chance.

Something similar happened my senior year in baseball. We played LC-M in the Regional Finals for a trip to state. Griff won the toss and made us play in Houston, since we had beat them the year before at Lamar for a trip to Austin.

We graduated Thursday night, beat LCM game 1 Friday night and had a double header Saturday at the Astrodome. My flight for Cancun left at 5am Sunday morning.

I packed my bag for my senior trip. Win go to Austin, lose go to Cancun. There was never any other discussion between any of the seniors. We wanted to win a state title. Cancun will always be there, but that was my last chance to play in Austin. We did all lose our $600 we spent on the trip though.

Not 1 Texas player was drafted this year. That is the 1st time since 1937 that they haven't had a player picked.

Houston traded back into the 3rd round and drafted Louis Nix out of ND. That's a good pick right there. He's a beast of a nose tackle.

I guess I just don't get all of the hate for Johnny. Every college across the country is full of kids just like Johnny minus the Heisman Trophy. He is the first of the new social media superstar that embraced all of it and Is going to make a killing off of his fame. With all of the "blatant rule breaking" as you put it, I guess I'm just glad that he hasn't been accused of raping multiple women, stealing from fast food restaurants, shooting at people with BB guns, and stealing crab legs as some recent Heisman winners have done. I guess supposedly signing autographs, traveling around going to sporting events, and partying was way worse.

Do you know him? I'm just wondering how you know so much about his huge head other than reports on TV. Everyone I've heard of that actually knows Johnny, seems to like the guy.
