You do realize that core values are basically just the laws of our country that Charlie post on the wall, right? I bet every coach in the country doesn't want his players beating women and doing drugs but since Charlie puts it on the wall he really means it.

I have a kid that will be 2 yrs old on Saturday. I'm currently training him to be 6'4 and throw footballs really hard.

Watson will have to be willing to change or he will be unemployed again. He never tried to play to Swoopes strengths last year. The best coaches are flexible and can adjust to the roster of needed. Watson will have to prove he can do that this year or it will be a long season.

Average recruiting rankings over the last 4 years. A&M ranks 9th overall and 6th in the SEC. Texas is tied for 10th and 1st in the Big 12 The cupboard is bare argument is weak. [Hidden Content]

A&M Basketball---Co-SEC Champs!

Ags roll against Mizzou today. They need to win at least 4 of their final 6 games to have a shot at the tourney. That would put them 20-8 and 11-5 in conference. If they win 5 of last 6 I think they are in for sure. -
Interesting read. Texas HS Football is still King [Hidden Content]

I guess core values don't apply to Chuckie @BruceFeldmanCFB: Some pissed off signees out there RT @BryanDFischer: Texas DT signee Du'Vonta Lampkin on the Chris Rumph to #UF news… [Hidden Content]

The parents have to sign if the kid isn't 18 yet. Not sure if that's the case. Otherwise the kid could go to Kinkos and send a fax pretty easily if he wanted to.

This goes along with my post yesterday. The coach is supposed to be tied to his word but the players aren't?
-
Oregon signed zero recruits from Oregon. 22 players from 9 different states with 9 from California.
-
I look for the NCAA to institute an early signing period for football like they have in other sports. Basketball has 7 days in November where players can sign early then the regular date in April. A lot of school are going to push for this because of the amount of money and time spent recruiting players. This year is one of the worst I've seen as far as players flipping back and forth and it will only get worse with social media. I can't decide if I'm for that or against it. The way coaches change jobs it isn't really fair for the players to be locked into a school after the coach that they agreed to play for takes another job. It also isn't fair to the schools to hold spots for kids that don't keep their word, but I guess that's part of the game. Thoughts?

Miami has 13 players committed for 2016. Ole Miss and TCU are 2 & 3 with 8 commits. A&M, Texas and Bama each have 3. It looks like Golden skipped 2015 and got an early start for next year. Still a long way to go though.

Ags had 3 Five stars according to 247 Composite. Kirk, Mack, and Murray The entire Big 12 had 1- Malik

“I silently committed back to A&M on my official visit and I told Coach Sumlin before I left (on the weekend of Jan. 16),†Mack exclusively told GigEm247 on Tuesday night. “The moment I knew I was going back was when I met with the coaches on my visit. The moment that shocked me was when coach (Terry) Price pulled up coach (John) Chavis’ list of players he’s coached at my position that were in the NFL and it was impressive. I had no idea he’d coached that many people. Then he compared that list to the entire Big 12. Not just TCU or Texas, but the entire conference, and after that I kinda knew. Plus, I knew if I came in and played as hard as I could and stayed healthy that I would be able to get to next level.†[Hidden Content]

Classes are ranked by total number of stars so those 4 extra players make a big difference in class ranking.

You can't come on here and post facts. It doesn't fit with their agenda.

Garrett Gilbert is getting sized right now for his new Super Bowl ring.

Ok well give some data that backs Strong in your debate. So far I have seen nothing that backs this besides core values.

He seems like a good kid that made a tough decision today. I wish the best for him. Quote: @ShawnC_KVUE: According to a couple of sources I trust in East TX, recent TX signee Kris Boyd from Gilmer had 2nd thoughts after faxing his LOI to UT. Quote: Kris.Boyd!@kris23db 31m 31 minutes ago Just wanna give a special S/O to A&M and their amazing fan base! This was not a easy decision. No doubt there will be future success #GigEm

UCLA DC gone before the ink is even dry on those Letters of intent. Wow! I wonder how much Mora paid him to stick around until everyone signed and how those players feel right now. [Hidden Content]

I think both coaches still have something to prove and neither one is currently one of the top 2 coaches in the state. Those 2 are currently Art Briles and Gary Patterson. What I don't get is how you can claim Strong is a superior coach when he has a worse win % than Sumlin, worse bowl record, and has finished .500 or worse in a majority of his years as a head coach.
-
The problem with Mack was all of the wavering and attention seeking. Once he committed the spotlight was off him and he didn't like it. Any time a big name committed he did something to bring the attention back to himself. Like when he decommitted a few hours after Malik signed. He is one of the most talented players on the state but I could do without all of the Twitter drama. Whether we like it or not social media is now a huge part of recruiting and will only get worse. We don't know what kids are going through and some are legitimately torn. It's a life long decision that shouldn't be made over night. Kris Boyd seemed pretty sincere in his letter and ultimately made what he thinks is the best decision for him, which I can respect. I compare it to every hot girl in the country throwing themselves at you and you can only pick one. It's not that easy with everyone of these coaches promising the world.
-
Any data to back that up or are you just hoping that Is true? Win %- Sumlin Bowl record- Sumlin Core values- Strong 59 yards of offense- Strong 60% of your seasons as a head coach with 6 or more losses- Strong Wait that's 3-2 Strong. Maybe you are right.

Re-read my post before declaring a post of the day. I don't believe Dylan Capers-Smith plays baseball or has a chance of getting drafted.

CB = Corner Back Deshawn Capers-Smith is who I was referring to. He will play cornerback at A&M
