I've personally built around 85 govt houses in the last 12 months. At around $125k a pop, my number is close to $11 million in government funds over the last year. There are 5 of me in my office that do nearly the same and multiple other builders in the area of similar size. These programs are all across the country in any area that had a natural disaster. Some people deserve help while others abuse the systems and me. It really ticked me off when I found out that a portion of the money is used to build new section 8 houses. I recently finished a few houses for an investor that owns 40 rent houses. We tore down his worst properties that were nearly falling down anyways and built brand new homes. He paid $30k down for the house and Section 8 will guarantee $1000 a month in rent. It must be nice to get that kind of return on your investment. I have yet to find any properties for $30k that will pay me that a month, but I do keep my eyes open everyday.

Kirk passed him up and he saw the writing on the wall in spring practice. A&M signed 6 receivers in 2013 and with Quiv leaving only 2 of them are left. On the bright side, that is the one position the Ags can afford some attrition. If they keep bringing in 5 or 6 WR a year for 4 starting spots they are bound to lose some. Their 2013 class that ranked #9 in the country has been a pretty bad recruiting class all around. A couple of starters that rob drug dealers at gunpoint, a kid that steals from his teammates, Trill, and a handful of receivers are gone just to name a few.

Rough day for the #1 Ags so far They led 8-3 last night before rain suspended the game. The game resumed today and Arkansas scored 1 in the 7th and 5 in the 8th to win 9-8. Game 3 the Ags trail 6-1 in the 3rd of a 7 inning game. Looks like there may not be a #1 vs #2 matchup with LSU next weekend.

Pretty boring final round, but what Speith has done all week has been unbelievable. He's the best player in the world right now at age 21.

Miss St beat #2 A&M today 3-2. #1 Vandy lost 5-4 to Ole Miss #4 LSU trails Auburn 5-1 in the 8th I guess A&M picked a good day to take their 3rd loss of the season.

I hope Speith wins also, but I hate to see him run away with. There is nothing better than Sunday at the Masters with a big group in contention.
