WT is doing well after double lung transplant. Bryan coming home to help with a program he holds dear having played, graduated, and, oh yeah, his Dad became a legend there. Good luck to Bryan on the move. Good luck to Coldspring in finding someone to fill in for what Bryan built.

You have so little else going on in your life that you have to run down an entire baseball program and the kids in it? first of I never really post besides scores or if I need games but High Island is not garbage, Coach Taylor has done a great job down on the island he has produced back to back playoff teams and has the chance to get back again this year, he has put together some teams that shouldnt be able to compete because of the lack of enrollment and has won so for you to call HI garbage is a slap in the face to the school, Coach Taylor, and those kids.  

As always, one guy claiming to have information but "should probably wait". That's code for "likes people to think he's an insider, but really has no clue".

Seriously lash out at the kids maybe you need to grow up is what it sounds like. Who cares about the lighting and yes hj hit and silsbee didn't but the call goes the other way and your undies are bunched then. And hj the better team maybe today but it is baseball anything can happen anytime.

In my book the better team last night won the game...could-a-should-a-would-a....and if the queen had a pair she would be the king. Guys errors are as much a part of the game as batting averages, RBI's, walks and K's. The better team is the one that gets the "w" and next time they meet that team may or may not be the better team. Yes sometimes one team can play flauless and loose a game to a team that has the ability to out score their mistakes, but my theory still holds true if the other team was better than that would not be possible. Just my humble not so important opinion.

Got a feeling Maryland, WVU, Providence and OU going down today..lol

I hear you. I did the same thing with the SEC in my college bowl pick ems. Colossal mistake!!

I have seen a lot of hs football over the yrs. I have witnessed a lot of bad calls, no calls, and good calls. I have never witnesses blatant cheating. Basketball now that is a different story (Bmt Hebert vs Silsbee 1979)

Class WOS pure class! Really...I bet if it were footbal the AD would have been out there taking tickets himself while turning a hand cranked turbin to make electricity! If it were football...

I am a sucessful smaller school coach. I am looking for a fresh new start at a bit larger school. BOOM! Lumberton Raiders job opens up. Two other similiar jobs open up. I jump on the internet and start studying the mighty RedRaiders and looking deeply into their program. As I research them and the other two school i find out that the other two schools coaches were there long term. I see the Raiders school board does not like keeping coaches very long. I see that a very sucessful coach held the job before me but was cut in the midst of a rebuild were he had the school on the upward path. I now assume unless I take Lumberton and win next season I will be terminated within a year at the most two seasons. I also see Lumberton plays in a competitive district and it will be no cake walk to get back to were I need to be. Sorry Raiders fans but your school board just sent me a very good up and coming coach in the other direction. This is how I see a coach would feel about coming to Lumberton.

I like both guys but it was a bad year to be a qb with our skill sets but this conversation is useless because Silsbee just dont play defense. I say don't because with all that talent I'll never buy into the "can't". EVER year, for the most cases, we finally run into another team that plays offense on an equal level and smacks us in the face defensively.

Offense gets you into playoffs but defense wins championships.

Hitting drills anyone...??
