Congratulations Dayton football PLAYERS.  This is the best game I have seen them play all year.  I stress the word players because they have lacked fan support and now their own school.  No band, no drill team, and no cheerleaders to cheer them on.  Before anybody starts making excuses about the weather, those PLAYERS had to endure the same weather conditions and adversities as anyone else in the community and school district did.  Congratulations again and shame on the school officials that didn't make an effort to support them.

My apologies BG. I read your post about WOS in 22-5a and some Indians post about 21-5a and got mixed up. I definitely agree about WOS winning 22-5a though.

That's exactly what I've been saying and been given all these idiotic reasons why they should.  I don't think any team in 22-5a would make the playoffs in 21-5a. That's just my opinion.

Sorry. I meant yes, Nederland will be ranked ahead of New Caney no matter what happens this weekend. I don't think it has anything to do with the last 8 games though. But I do agree with Pride on what will happen come playoffs. 

Past history says no.  Channelview beat Dayton, Dayton beat Nederland and is still ranked above both of them.  I don't know what part of this you don't get.

That would be one way to justify it. 

With this logic in mind, the pollsters should look at this scenario next week.  Crosby beat Dayton beat Ned beat PNG.  You could argue it should be PNG, Ned, Dayton, then Crosby.  At least that would be a consistent train of thought.

I don't know, I guess I just see it different. Team A beats team B. Team B beats team C. You don't turn around and rank them C,B,A. That would be illogical. 

No suffering over here in LickSkillet. There is just no logic in the poll results. I guess that's how Obama made it into office too though, no logic. 

I told cougar14.2 Nederland was getting better. All we had to do was wait for the opinion poll to see. Channelview beats Dayton, Dayton beats Ned, and Ned gets ranked higher than both of them.  It's only right. 

Nederland has made adjustments and gotten better.  Just wait for the SETX "opinion" poll to come out.  You will see.
