I'm calling BS and that's what it is. Pure unadulterated high school football game robbery, by prejudiced refs. Period.
Are you serious ? Most of them were false starts that were obvious on the replays. I never saw the Newton coach complain to the refs about any call.

Lots of folks on here were saying this would be an easy W for Newton. Wall has been the much better team so far.
A lot of people forget or just don’t know that better athletes don’t always win the game over a better “team”.

Facilities will be part of the draw that brings kids to schools. Crosby lacks facilities. King has a beautiful stadium and Indoor facility. North Shore has a nice stadium and are building an Indoor facility. Summer Creek powerhouse program like the two mentioned earlie
I was joking about the recruiting. Crosby has no “draw” for athletes with the current administration.

Crosby went from the smallest school in 5A D1 two years ago to the smallest school in 6A. I guess we are going to have to send some recruiters to King, Summer Creek, Northshore, etc.

6A DI
Lake Travis vs. North Shore at Thorne Stadium, Houston 3pm (winner faces Allen/Duncanville winner)
Any way to watch this game ? I didn’t see it on NFHS.

That was a good high school football game.
-
Man, I thought this game was over in the first quarter.
-
SV has several underclassmen making plays.
-
The replay showed the SV player had both knees down when he lost the ball. Tough break.

I personally am predicting the 6A cutoff number to be 2220
I don’t know how true it is, so I won’t name the source, but I heard the 6A number is going to be 2275 and above.

Valentine ISD turned in a whopping enrollment number of “9”.

I married into the whole purple cult thing and genuinely love it but I’ve for a few questions. The city line and school district lines are so confusing. You’ve got a lot of Port neches homes that are Nederland school district, a part of Groves that is PA school district, etc. I’ve heard numerous PN citizens opposed to apartments, etc, things to expand the enrollment of our school. While I don’t agree with open enrollment, it’s hard to grow when there’s limited space for people to move to. Is it an old way of thinking? Is it people who are stuck in their ways and don’t want to grow? It almost feels like “we gotta keep the trash out” mentality. Hopefully I’m wrong.
Coming at it from a football perspective, it would do them some good to gain about 200 kids and move up to D1. It would make sense logistically. I’m not trying to start any bs, it’s just something that’s been on my mind.
Sounds like they are “Land-Locked” and will have no room for growth. Likely to either stay in the same classification or drop down as schools around them grow. Just part of it.

Momentum squarely on the visitors side right now
BH had several opportunities to be in the lead. Those tipped interceptions were brutal.

Yeah lil chewy it’s apparent to me you’re missing the point. Every time you use the word ‘recruit’ we can easily see under your skirt. You’re in an emotional pain and it’s rather difficult to have a logical discussion with the type. I mean, to continue with that “recruiting”assertion is just silly.
One of the BEST white coaches in Texas High School Football History went to one of those black schools (Duncanville) on the I20 corridor, dripping with talent, and couldn’t even make the playoffs. Blackman Samples goes there and immediately makes them a National Contender.
Another white coach took over at Desoto when they were ranked #5 in the nation based on their talent. I don’t believe he made it to the playoffs. Blackman Mathis goes back and they’re a national contender, again.
so your delusional assessment of the coaching ability in our community is bereft, to say the least.
SOC’s entire defense was offered by Louisville in 2013/14, and they didn’t make it past the 3rd round
I went to SOC when they had MORE talent than they do now. They promptly went 1-9 or 2-8 every single season. The weight room consisted of one bench… that’s it.
Y’all never cried about the talent until we learned to win with it.
We saw one school towns dominate Texas high school football all throughout history. We never whined about y’all benefiting from players being in the same program since toddlers. Having an entire town to choose from when picking and cutting. Having facilities that we couldn’t match. Always miraculously getting the best black athlete across 4 counties to transfer in right before High school
But you want to discount the efforts of Jason Todd’s staff and the program they’ve built brick by brick. That’s cowardice and clown behavior….. and don’t worry, we didn’t expect you to notice
it’s not SOC’s fault that they are located in a talent rich area….. so are all the inner city schools in Fort Bend, Richmond, Houston, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio , the rest of Dallas.
By yall’s theory, there should be a dominant inner city school all throughout the nation, but what you don’t realize is that SOC is somehow the only one 🤔:we’ll take that over the appreciation of some backwood trailer inhabitants.
I’m not entirely sure you and the other crybabies thought your positions all the way through on this matter, and that’s to be expected
Stupid white coaches have never done anything. Roll eyes.

This makes those missed opportunities by BH even more painful for them.

This Willis DeSoto game is going to take 10 hours to finish.
Officials not taking control of this game. Head coach for DeSoto should have already been ejected probably.
Such a strange, completely unhinged vibe from that sideline and team.
Yep. It’s a turning out to be a thug-fest.

Keagan Ash of Mt. Enterprise is chasing the all time Texas rushing record and the all time points record. He’s a couple of yds from breaking the single season rushing record. It’s hard to get exact stats, but he’s at around 200 yds rushing tonight and 5 touchdowns, with a couple of 2-pt conversions. ME is the underdog, but up 44-28 late second quarter. Bremond about to score again though
In the 2nd quarter ? Does neither team play defense ?

No crying. If PAM lose that means they got out coached, out hustled and made too many mistakes. I’m not gonna get on here and say oh if the defense didn’t score this or the only way they won because we fumbled. I heard that too many times this year from other fan bases. THATS PART OF FOOSBALL. As long as the refs call it both ways.
100% facts. Nothing against BH, but PAM has the athletes to beat anyone in 5A D1. The only way they lose is if they beat themselves.
-
Did PNG lose their starting QB for the rest of the season ?
-
If the starting QB and RB do not return for CS, they are going to have a rough 2nd half.
-
Looks like the CS starting QB and RB are out with injuries now. Aside from the long run by Eugene, PAM has not moved the ball much.
10-10 at the half

10-10. 2nd quarter

10-7 PAM.
