34 points in the first half by running the ball, none in the second half by throwing it. Good play calling coach.

It’s week 4 and they still don’t know where to line up
Yep.

Texanlive announcer keeps talking about how Crosby was moving the ball all game by running it but went away from it. Hmm…..
He knows.
-
Now we are getting out coached. BH is running straight ahead to use the clock and our safeties are playing 20 yards off the ball like a prevent defense. Dumb.
-
Crosby went away from the run. Need to go back to it because BH has yet to show they can stop it. Crosby
-
Three of BH scoring drives kept alive by pass interference penalties. That’s terrible defense on Crosby’s part.

Agree. I don’t see the BH game within their reach but I don’t think they are as bad as many seem to think. We shall see.
They loss to Lee. Or, we can say got out-coached. What makes you think the coaching is going to get any better ? The players are going to lose faith in the coaches, and the team will likely get worse.

Fuentes might pass for 500 yards.

Crosby will work RSS and GCM by 50 each.
The offense scored virtually every time they got their hands on it. The defense and the onside kick were the problems for Crosby. Also whatever penalty they had after the last touchdown forced a kickoff from near their own 20. Lee didn't have to do much on the return to start on Crosby 40 yard line.
The penalty was a celebration penalty on the sidelines. I believe it was all the coaches.

Crosby getting severely out coaches.
-
Yarbrough is not the RB that needs to be in the backfield.
-
Yea, I think if Crosby started the season playing some mediocre teams like Magnolia West or Montgomery, we could start out 2-0. But probably get a lot more preparation experience with King and FBM.

Busted 😃. I think Levi looked good too, but just seems odd. Did Wesley play against BH last year? I just remember Levi
You having to ask that question proves my point about which one is the better back. 😁

Better yet why is Levi the A back with a 4 star on the roster? Sounds like daddy ball
I know you are just trying to get a jab at 14.2, but in all seriousness, Levi has proven to be the better back up to this point. He fumbled 1 time all of last year, and redeemed himself on his next carry for a 55 yard TD run. The other back fumbled numerous games. Some kids just look good at camps and can sell themselves.

Why is Wesley so highly rated and Levi is not?
I’ve always wondered the same thing. If you watch last years films, it’s not even close as to which one is the better RB.

More like he’s bringing back culture to town. Man has hired or promoted more coaches from the community than any other coach in Crosby history. For that alone he’s got my support.
Hiring “home-town heros” is not always a good thing. I have seen many school districts, including Crosby, hire local alumni and that doesn’t mean they make good coaches. That just means they knew somebody to get the job. If Willis’s intentions were to win over the community by hiring them, your post proves that he succeeded. If he is able to win with those hires is yet to be determined. I hope it works out for him and the staff.

Was Coach P, aka the coach of accountability, the coach that was stomping on the BH logo in midfield or was that Rio?
So I take it 14.2, you are back on board from the "Crosby hired an old guy coach and looking to transfer mantra" we heard this summer?
That was Prieto. I don’t know why BH fans are mad about that. If BH beats Crosby on their field, they deserve to dance on the Crosby logo. Wouldn’t hurt my feelings. No reason to be sensitive.

Participation needs to come up. Nice turnout to Summer workouts. But I’m still trying to figure how Rio had more football players with a smaller enrollment. This years team will be leaps and bounds better than last years team. But I’d imagine the whole district got better as well. Time will tell.
I don’t understand the participation numbers. We literally went to the state finals one year, then suited up just 33 on varsity the next season. Odd.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hire from within since it's so late in the year. Who knows 🤷🏾♂️
Just remember Crosby’s Head Coaching role also involves being the AD.

Dang, BG, we have to get this week’s game in tomorrow night first. I’m going to say Crosby by 3 scores, but with one day less rest, maybe only a two score victory.
