Huffman scored one for sure, maybe another. Crosby scored 7 times with 7 different players.
-
They have 7 tot returning starters according to FNF magazine. DC's list players they don't return like a bunch of other mistakes they make with enrollments and stats. First you said "Code Crickets", then said "armchair" on the response? Dayton has lost 7 district games the last 3 years and lost a lot, I don't think it's hating to say they might not have the easiest time making the playoffs in a tough district.
You've got to understand. Certain fans from certain schools can spout insults but when you show stats or legitimate logic in your comments you are insulting them with higher intelligence.
-
That has got to be the dumbest post ever made. All the players and coaches know this is a new year and they are playing one game at at a time. Sports writers have them ranked high so you are hating on them. You guys hated on SC when they were winning and now you hate on Crosby. Please keep up with the dumb posts. It shows your intelligence or lack there of.

CougarCal is spot on. It lets you find out if the kids that haven't played before can play at the varsity level. A coach already knows what his returners can do. Playing Huffman probably does prepare us for a bi-district playoff match up though.

Yeah, Crosby gave up 19.3ppg over a 15 game schedule with 9 playoff teams on it. They made a living on being physical at the line of scrimmage last year and will again this year. The offense did look potent but I'm not sure what he was looking at to draw the conclusion that Crosby has somehow become finesse.
As I said, he probably was not even there.
-
huh? I thought they were pretty physical last year, something changed again?
Nothing changed. Same defensive linebackers and secondary as last year. I wonder if the guy that said this was even at the scrimmage.

End of cat fight.
Dang it !

I thought this thread was titled "Crosby vs. Ned". Dang Indians are taking over. I do admire them for coming to the rescue of poor defenseless little puppies though. Might just say they are the SPCA of 22-5a

Where is coog8bronco ? He was always good for some "insulting" stats too.
-
So we're crowning Ned state champs if they beat Crosby?
No, but look for hell to be froze over if that happens
-
Pulling out the JH smack is ok. It has always seemed strange to me that it really never carries over to the varsity level though. Barbers Hill seems to dominate from JV down yet can't make a four team playoff. Doesn't make much sense

gonna start my "code brown" watch and talley up how much "code red" get the brakes beat off them this year on the score board and on field play.....it's like that other obnoxious group of bullmutts from SC, just 100x worse.
I would bet that code brown talley would be less than the brown that is spewing from your mouth
-
Neither that dumb or funny, just being realistic. If y'all get re-district back to 22-5a next year it will be fitting. That way y'all can live off of tradition like PNG and Ned. That's just my present prediction, whether it be dumb or funny.

76-3 Channelview.

Edwards I think.
Trey Edwards. Dayton JV's only loss last year was when this kid scored like six times.
-
who's the 3rd rb?
Can't remember his name but last year Ned's JV knows who he is. I just call him Earl Campbell. Kid has huge thighs and runs straight over people. Look for him on 3rd and short.
-
Buddy I already called the 2nd rd jinxing...we will have to wait and see
Yeah, you picked against Crosby all of last year too. It took five rounds to get it right. Every playoff game we played you had a relative playing on the other team, coaching, or some BS. Your screen name should come with a disclaimer saying you have the right to change your team you represent.

I thought this topic was a "Code Red Only" thread. Seems like a lot of non-believers posting on it. Hmmm....

The Old Coach FNF Magazine Predictions:
1. Crosby
2. CE King
3. Kingwood Park
4. Dayton
5. New Caney
6. Humble
7. Barbers Hill
8. Porter
9. Galena Park
KP lost a lot but I didn't realize how solid the kids were that they had coming back. We'll see how fast they can pick up what Maple is going to teach.
I'm good with the top three but think Humble is getting the forth spot.

I said thanks. And it is "peace" not "piece". But I am glad you can sit back and enjoy this with a fluffy. I am sure the great footballer06 will appreciate it as well

What happened to the Crosby thread ?

Again, your making dumb assumptions about me jumping on the bandwagon. I can count on one hand the number of games I've missed in the last 40 years. I'm just not used to these keyboard want to be players that do hide in the corner and not back up their smack talk. Good day "player".
