I think this district (Jasper, WO-S, Silsbee, HD) will be one of the strongest 4A2 districts in the state next year. They will make a lot of noise come playoffs. Silsbee is king of the mountain until someone knocks them off and that might just happen, WO-S, Jasper, and HD will all be capable.

I hear he is no longer going to Nederland, looking at John Tyler and another school.

Newton lost everything to graduation. Our starting running back will be a freshman next year. Nothing to see here.

We played Anahuac opening game last year and he was not a 140 lb. QB. Program listed him at 6’1” Fr. 187 lbs.

I was at the game too. I am talking about how he completed a lot of his passes and kept our offense off the field. Newton had to work to win this game. I was talking to neece before the game and he was telling me he had a QB that was going to be D1 QB. if you come to a Newton game next season, look me up. I will be on the Newton sideline. This will be the 34th and last year I will be doing security for Newton. However I staid that the last two years.

The coach has to play the hand he is dealt. Sometimes you don’t get dealt 4 aces. Some people think you should win every year regardless of the hand you are dealt. They should fire Nick Saben for not making the playoffs last year. He had to deal the hand he had. Comments like you have 7 years to win state..ha I guess every team has their haters. It is a terrible thing to hate. There is a couple on here that hate Nederland, bet you do not find them in church today.

So with those qualifications who are they hiring, the coach or the son....

Do we ever know if it is true about the QB from Anahuac coming to Nederland?

I it is uncommon for 3A1.

This kid is years ahead of his age. He came to Anahuac and fell right into that program. you need to see him play before you judge him. He will surprise you.

Anahuac QB is the real deal. His dad is one of the assistant coaches for neece. neece hired the coach to get the QB at Anahuac. Nederland would have to hire the QB s dad to get the QB. I think he will be a sophomore next year. Coach Neece was OC at Newton when we won state.

They may graduate from TDC in about25 years.
