Yes, he is playing. Heard the kicker (Ochoa) was back also. The only one I know out will be Grace. He is out for the season after the first two games this year though. 

The way the transfer thing played out I'm sure there's no love lost between either side. This is a playoff game for both teams, not to mention we've been playing each other since the 50's. 

If Crosby coaches get the chance they will not let off the gas. Crosby probably set a school record for attendance the last 2 games. The Jungle will be rocking.

So I know I'm very biased about this but Tre needs to get the ball that kid is a monster. 

I wouldn't say great, they're a pretty good team.  I don't have a biased opinion about them or any other team.  I try to give honest opinions, that's what cool about it, it's my opinion.  Not worth a lot I know, but heck, it's all I got.  Rankings honestly don't mount to a hill of beans so I won't get into that discussion.  Playoff runs come down to who gets hot, who stays healthy, and match ups.  Last year you probably didn't see a Semi final appearance either, but things just clicked and fell into place.

He came out slow and turned the ball over a couple times. But he still threw 2 TD and ran one. He came up big against New Caney in the clutch throwing a 60 yard strike to send it into OT. Then throwing the game winning touchdown. I know what you mean though im still adapting to the way he plays also. Not much to be said when we are winning ball games.

Looks like Channelview gets into the playoffs for the first time since Mannie Netherly's dad was the starting qb for them. Congrats to coach Hurts. I'll post the stats when they're complete. 
*Town by town going west down 90: Dayton, Crosby, Channelview, King(Sheldon) and North Shore all get into the playoffs. Good ball being played by pretty much everybody on the east side except the Baytown Schools. 

New Caney is a lot better than people think.  Only weakness I saw was the kicking game.

I think you would have to look at Deer Park to say numbers don't equate to a better team. North Shore having more numbers than everybody is why with what a lot of people feel was sub-par coaching they won a state title and 78 consecutive regular season games. Other than Katy, North Shore has been the best 6A program around here for the last 20 years. Why do you think that is?

I don't buy into the offense not firing on all cylinders. We just need to get Craig back at 100% and continue to have Trey carry the load and we're back in business.

Harrison is solid and plays his role, but it seems like when Crosby needs a big play on 3rd down Nathan White comes up big.

These kids are resilient and have battled through adversity to look even better than they did last year. Coach Riordan "The Philosopher" has these boys finding a way to win.

Well, I don't think there can be any argument as to who the best 5A team in the state is. I just hope Crosby would be better that night if we make it there again. I saw where an Aledo fan said he felt like a 14-0 Crosby matching up with a 14-0 Cedar Park would be the de facto state title game. #1 vs #2 in the semis would be epic to say the least.

Cedar Park lost 3 regular season games and went to the state championship. Food for thought.

"Three things can happen when you throw the football. Two of them are bad." The Trey Edwards find was a relief. Companied with Cotton averaging 5-7 yards a pop and our running game is back in business. I would like to see Craig "ice up" until the playoffs. Having him 100% going into the playoffs will be important.
