i didnt realize the comment was just for varsity. i was under the impression we had 3 basketball kids that would play baseball, whether that be varsity or jv, i am not aware. 1 standout baseball player for sure. sorry for the confusion

Yea #18 is Parker Moye his shoulder was bothering him , and I agree about the emotions, he was out of character last night, but is very competitive. 

I recommend going to camps of the schools of interest. Coaches get to see a lot more from the players talent to personality. 

Evadale is gonna surprise Iola, Rebels upset Iola 26-20.

Total different team for HD.  Lost the only weapon they had at running back.  

Evadale should blow HD out.

What a game for my lil band of Pirates! They brought nothing but heart to Evadale last night. Congratulations to the Rebs but I must say...the Pirates led 13-8 almost the entire game and lost the lead with 3:00 mins left in the 4th to a  4th down and 10, eyes closed 30yd toss to the back of the end zone and just could not come back. Pirates Defense logged 3 interceptions and a fumble recovery but couldn't capitalize. At the end of the day...alot of these kids don't even have a home to go to at night and spending their days gutting homes and moving furniture. Absolute fantastic bunch of young men. No matter the score, I am extremely proud. Those boys left everything they had on that field in Evadale. 

OH WOW! Already making excuses for what is about to happen! Hey, it was going to be ugly with or without those starters. I'm sure the coaches were breathing just fine after watching film on HD! If they even did.

I don't count this pole anyway because my son got 1st team All State First base thru THBCA and we were notified by our coach about this one, so I believe it's more official! Because there's a person who is listed on this one for  first team outfielder who never touched the outfield! Lol not very good sports writing !

i just think it is funny people are making all state in position they never played or played only a couple times all year. WOS best offensive player did not even make the list?

My son and I are new to this recruiting, he's a 2019 LHP sits 85-88 consistently and has gotten a lot of looks and summer coaches have called him to let him know a few D1 coaches want him to contact them and he has and they have watched him, but the kid gets frustrated when they tell him you looked good but we want to watch you a couple of more times and I think I understand what there wanting to see but to a kid he doesn't ....especially when he's pitched well and velocity was up! I do agree it's all about timing and being at the right place at the right time! But when my son sees others getting scholarship offers that he knows his velocity and control is better than he just doesn't understand and I try and tell him , that kid may have had a good day in front of the right person! Anyway thanks for the info this helps!
