Darth Texas

(1) you literally brought it into this thread; (2) the point of playing the song was to get a reaction; (3) if you’re going to do classless low-character moves that display poor sportsmanship, you don’t get to then whine like a little baby that someone commented about it. Enjoy the win, stop crying.

Even when you win you find something to whine about

Have we even done two run plays in a row? This is bizarre.

that’s because they know we’re guaranteed to pass on 2nd and 3rd down.

Png needs to run the ball more. Passing every two plays isn’t working. We can grind out three yards a carry and that’s good enough. The current plan isn’t an offense, it’s just an interception factory that doesn’t burn any clock and doesn’t move the ball. OC is playing XBox.

Nederland’s afraid of running up the middle. I think they’ll improve it, but definitely an area to sharpen. Coach calls something up the middle and they’re either too hesitant to hit the gap or try to bounce it outside

Nederland looks like they have some good size in the trenches this year

You hate to see it. His poor family.

I don’t think the rules apply to games

I think Dayton surprises for second place in district in 10-5ad2. And BH gets third in their first year in 6a.

I’m more worried about Brenham. Last year they were excellent. Adding back Jacoby Dixon is going to take them up a level. I saw him when he was only a freshman against png in 2023 and he was already a grown man.

Baseball’s almost over, DCTF magazine is on its way. It’s officially football season.

I think it’s co-champs with png getting the 1-seed.

Who was the runner up for the Nederland job? Didn’t he take a head coaching job somewhere? Anyone remember who and where?

Is there a way to watch online?

Congratulations West Brook. It’ll be so cool if both Beaumont schools win state !

How’s the kid who was hurt?

Is there any kind of go fund me for this kid? This is an opportunity to reach across the football aisle and give SOC some support from SETX.

“The affidavit does not clarify why Mayfield was holding a gun or who it belonged to.” (From the article linked above). You need to revisit your definition of “settled” and “indisputable.”

The “death row” moniker had absolutely nothing to do with what happened here. This was dumb kids being irresponsible with guns, and certainly in the orbit of even dumber and more irresponsible adults. What the defense calls itself is irrelevant to this tragedy.

Go Mustangs!!

Congratulations Mustangs! Chain gang defense showed up tonight! Hard to believe this is the same West Orange team that lost to Nederland in week 2.

Great season, PaM! Best memorial team ever!

A single act from one person condemns the entire community? Cool. I’m sure you’d accept that standard being applied to Port Arthur.

What does that change? Who said anything had to be limited to transfers that occurred this season? The effect is the same.
