Gohlke’s qb1, or has been the past few games. Ashworth still rotates in at qb on certain plays, but has mainly been moving between slot receiver or h-back.

First matchup was 1925.

I might be off, but Png’s starting defense has given up 14 total points in three district games. If I recall right Santa Fe scored 14 before the backups came in, Texas city only scored off an interception before the backups came in, and Dayton got zero.

PNG by 3+ scores. I’d really love to see the run game get a lot of reps this week.

I don’t necessarily want my starters sitting for half of three games in a row before starting a stretch against png, Texas city, and Dayton. Nederland might go as well as 3-0 in that stretch, but just as easily goes 0-3. Can’t afford a slow start just because the last couple weeks were blowouts.

I think I’m ready to say I hate the new app. Even if it was executed well, its concept is bad. It looks terrible, and checking scores takes way longer.

PNG’s not making it an issue and certainly isn’t claiming we have a strong district, and png went beyond nearly any team in the state to have a tough preseason.

I’d worry more about Port Arthur being “ok.” Because if PNG’s not ok, we’re the best team you’ve played (partly because ya’ll chose to play weak-sauce Bellaire instead of a team that could actually beat you) and your short-bus district isn’t going to get you ready for the big boys. Playoffs are going to be a rude awakening for the titans.

Is the stream working for anyone? The app keeps trying to make me subscribe again. I had the stream for a few minutes but now it won’t come up. Getting pretty frustrated.

I found it - I don’t mind the appearance so much in the app. And I like having the streaming housed in the same place as the site content.

Is it a new app? I didn’t know they had one. I’ll look for it

Dctf’s computer needs to lay off the good stuff. PNG isn’t a top 10 team. We’ve still got potential but what we do with it remains to be seen.

What community?

I mean why didn’t PAM play up with a good team. They spent two years complaining that png was dodging competition because we switched them with a solid 6a program, then their entire preseason was a 5ad2 team and terrible Bellaire. They won’t play a good team until probably the third round, if they make it that far. Seems like they could have scheduled a Randle or North Shore in there somewhere.

Lufkin and LP are larger than everyone in PNG’s district. PAM’s district looks soft. And scheduling Bellaire was a waste of time. Chasing stats, I guess. Why didn’t they play up with a good team in preseason?

The o-line standing straight up is something I’m glad someone else noticed. Their technique is just bad. The o-line teaching has regressed.

It’s like watching us from the last few years. Similar scheme too.

He’s good but the big difference is their o-line is good and ours isn’t. They’re bigger, but also better. Our problems aren’t just because we’re smaller. Our o-line is just bad.
