Cornel Thompson would come back if we had a new Superintendent. Toby Foreman would also like to take over. But the Superintendent we have is the problem. Everyone gripes here but no one goes to the school board meeting to complain. I did, and not one other person showed up. They take public comments first, and then you can leave.

No surprise. The only surprise to me is that WOS beat BC last week.

U think BC gets 4th and playoff spot. I think we beat beat Jasper and get 3rd place. We shall see in 2 weeks my friend. Make the drive down and I'll buy our tickets on the visitor side. Lol

Hiawatha Hickman showed his true character after Silsbee handed him his butt. In true bad loser fashion he sent WOS to the  field house with 24 seconds left and did not send them to shake Silsbee's hand. Then, several players, having more integrity than their loser coach, returned to the field to shake hands with Silsbee, but, here comes Hickman's Lackeys, to collect them and send them to the field house. What a jerk. I told the school board last year, that this was going to happen. Hickman needs to go and Rickie Harris needs to go with him

They got rid of Cornel, then hired a coach with no head coach experience, to take over a team with the highest winning percentage in the state. He proceeded to demote or run off every coach that had been at WOS, then changed everything. WOS is headed to their worst season ever.

I need @OleMoe to come explain why WO-S did not win this game. He all but guaranteed a Mustang win over the Tigers. Heard it there first or something like that.
I picked Silsbee to win by 14 and they did just that. Missed on the total score (38-24) but still a 14 point win.

I" want to know when was the last time someone held WO.S to just 6 points. 🐅🏈

The old Bancroft school district. Almost 100% of FM 1078, parts if FM 1130, and past FM 1078 going up Hwy 62 toward Mauriceville. It cuts from 62 east, to the curve north of Country Corner Store on 1130.

I am north of I-10 and I think it is a disgrace. If you look at the state rankings you will see that they were ranked high because of all the returning starters. The only change was CT retiring.

Down years aren't supposed to happen when 16 starters return from a team that went 4 rounds deep in the playoffs though, and especially not with a program that has had this much historical success.

Don't blame the team. Blame the WOS School Board and our Superintendent Rickie Harris. Both need to go.
