A whack job Trump Supporter/Sheriff from Hastings (Barry County) Michigan-I had to check, there really is such a place. Has been trying for years to push the election fraud lies. 
 
So you basically have a Sheriff of a county that’s roughly the size of Hardin County… a county which was dominated by Trump in ‘16 and ‘20, conduct an investigation across county, state and international borders… investigating a “crime” (election fraud) over which he has no authority to investigate and no jurisdiction to make an arrest finally “proving” to morons that what they really wanted to have happen actually occurred. But you believe that the ace detective work by this LEO who just happens to be one of trump’s biggest supporters made the discovery that will prove once and for all that trump got cheated? lol.

I’ve stated over and over that I don’t think that the hush money trial has merit. I also don’t think that the fraud/appraisals case in NYC had merit, either. I think that the evidence in the Election Tampering case down in Georgia is pretty damning, and the case about mishandling documents down in Florida is a real problem for Trump… because that’s what intelligent people do-look at the facts make sound decisions not based on their pwecious feewings.  You know, just saying “Bah! It’s all a bunch of lies because I love him!” Or “of course he did it! I hate him.” But thought processes are something most people are incapable of. They only manage to scroll social media for posts that validate their own opinions and them off as truth or fact when they are just outright lies… but they make the re-poster feel good inside so he believes them without question. 
 
Every time I soundly refute the  idea that trump was good for the economy, y’all yell “but COVID!” His tax cuts provided a short term bubble in the economy by way of an exploding deficit and debt that our grandkids will still be paying interest upon 50 years from now even prior to COVID. 
It’s like when Mama takes over the family finances, maxes out all of the credit cards and drives the family into bankruptcy.  Y’all would be the spoiled brat, immature and stupid children that spout off “things were so much better when Mom was handling the finances! We had everything we wanted! Put her back in charge!”
Anybody that says “Trump was good for the economy” is just letting they world known that they don’t understand micro/macro economics or the effects of rising interest rates have on a debt the size of ours. 
 
What none of you seem to realize is that the problems were facing today (interest rates and inflation) would be occurring even if Trump were in office because his fiscal policies are more flawed than either conservatives or liberals.

Surely you're aware of the great lengths Trump has gone to disrupt the elections and destroy the careers of republican politicians who haven't supported some of his most outlandish claims, or dared to question him or disagree with him about January 6.  You and I actually agree on this issue, although it must only go one way for you, because Trump's actions against republicans who didn't fall into lockstep with him is one of my biggest concerns about reelecting him.  The fact that he took action to affect literally hundreds of republican primaries from national elections down to municipal levels across the country, is concerning. It would've been one thing had he done it in an effort to help republicans win. Instead his purpose was to push out his perceived detractors and install MAGA politicians at every level of government in as many places as possible, and has resulted in a fractured republican party.

Things to consider:

3. His name is Pecker

Intentionally keeping top secret documents haphazardly around the house comes to mind.  A lot of what came out of his mouth, torpedoing the political careers of republicans who didn’t fall in line?  I don’t know that he all of a sudden became a beacon of moral light and goodness just because he got into office. Again, we’re not talking about policy, but what kind of person he is.  If anything he seemed to get worse once he was in power as far as I could see.  

Here’s the thing. I keep dropping facts on you, and you keep on knee-jerk saying “all lies!” I’ve asked you multiple times to point out whatever I’ve said that is factually wrong…but you can’t.  You might not like the facts, and they might make your eyes sweat a little… but it doesn’t change the fact that they are as true. Heck, deep down inside you might even know that Ol’ CB is right, but you believe Trump isn’t to blame. That, sir, does not turn the truth into a lie. What you should have said was is “that may be true, but I’m giving Trump a pass because…” Not “that’s a lie” when the numbers don’t lie. 
 
But for you and everyone that  believes Trump was good for the economy, I’ll give another of my beloved and informative analogies that might help you finally understand. 
 
A man handles his Family’s finances.  He makes a decision that life could be better, so he’s like “this is our year!” He stops all contributions to retirement accounts (cuts taxes) then proceeds to book a trip to Disney, buys nice things for the family and maxes out all possible lines of credit…. Now they’re facing bankruptcy.  The kids (y’all) are now arguing “things were so much better when  Dad (Trump, also your Daddy) was in charge! We had nice things!”
The man set us on a course for ruin with deficit spending, then it accelerated with COVID, then he was such a pig that Biden got elected, and now we’re facing another “anybody but Trump” loss in the November, guaranteeing four more years of nonsense from which we’ll probably never recover. The debt is just insurmountable. We shouldn’t be surprised, either.  Trump has always been a “borrow as much as we can and pray (errrr, hope….not pray. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t do a lot of that) that it all works out” as evidenced by his businesses which have repeatedly bankrupted. 

He’s the thing in a nutshell: I can’t even watch Pornhub in Texas anymore because republicans are so opposed to pornography. 
 
But they’re trying to elect a guy who’s on trial for trying to cover up the fact that he was banging a porn star on the side while his wife was carrying their child.

The day that Trump took office, our nation debt stood at 19.9 Trillion dollars (End of Q4, 2016).  After his tax cuts (without corresponding cuts in spending), the national debt stood at 23.2 Trillion dollars at the end of Q1 of 2020 that was the Start of COVID, FYI... Or a total increase in debt of almost 17% during Trump's first three years (and one quarter) in office.  At the end of his reign (with COVID spending for which Trump himself signed off on) was at 27.7 Trillion Dollars.  That's a 39% increase in the National Debt while Trump was in office. 
For further reference, Biden inherited a 27.7 Trillion dollar debt to start.  At the end of Q4 2023, the debt stands at 34 Trillion.  That's an increase of 19% over the first three years.
I know that math and facts hurt your feelings, but Trump was horrible for the country before he allowed "them Dirty Democrats to shut down the economy."  Anybody that says "Trump was good for the country" doesn't know the first thing about micro/macro economics or the effects of deficit spending.  Trump hurt us like no other president, period. 
Anybody that says "Trump was good for the economy" is actually stating for the rest of us with some sense "I don't know what I'm talking about."
