    Maybe I have things wrong let me know if I do Smash. What is wrong with a 99.999% black community deciding that they will hire a black coach after coach T. retires. (some do not know how the school system works during a hiring process) They usually hire within. My ties to the community is just as strong as any WOS resident, I mean make it make sense. My people have land and a house that my 7 brothers and sisters and I pay taxes on now that our parents are deseaded. So to say I don’t get a say. Well kiss my grits. I really do not care who is head coach as long as the Blue & Silver wins.  As a human being I will support Coach H. it’s really sad to me to see him or any other person always being talked about negetively because of football. I am sure that his influence is not just on the field but also in the classroom. Go Mustangs, and Go Coaches!

    Shut Up! I'm a grown woman and I speak my mind just as you do! You have been the one talking the most about WOS business and I have played nicely with you. Most WOS people never speak up for our city, or the kids only to criticize. Question do the WOS school district give LCM money for your school support, if so I repeat SHUT UP!!

    SMH...You know it really amazes me that after two years of this coaches’ hire, the focused is still on; he was hired because he was black. To that I say SO!! It seems to me that some of ya’ll are angry, frustrated, or P…. off because things did not go the way you wanted it too. Guess what! Those who have the power will make the decisions LIKE IT OR NOT to the insiders and the outsiders! And for you outsiders, stay out of WOS business, or like some of ya’ll like to say POLITICS. My message to you is.. “STAY OUT OF BLACK FOLK BUSINESS”.  How bout that! This is getting on my last nerves. When the next coach gets hired, some of ya'll will still be singing the same old song. Move on and support the team!

    The ups and downs, highs and lows, are so drastic now that there's no expectations anything will flow from one week to the next. They can't find any solid ground to build on each week. At this point we are exactly in the same position as last season. No progress. Still lost to all the same opponents even though we were home for a few of them. Even though we went to OT with some too. There is no more home field advantage. So now when Jasper steps off the bus Friday we've got our hands full. Hope we get another instant classic that comes down to the final minutes.

    I was asked by someone who is not a member on the site what the" Experiment" was about, I said that if it was mentioned again that I would ask so I did. Now I know, I hope people will move on from it.

    Coaches do get most of the blame for team losses. On the flip side, some football knowledge cannot be coached or executed. I have seen a lot of improvement on our defense. The offense is where WOS is struggling badly. The QB is running more than he needs too. The OL missed their assignments, and QB was sacked a lot. Back in the day, the players had pride. Teams were not coming to our stadium and getting a victory on our field on homecoming. PERIOD! I would like to see the fans in the stands and those who hang around the fence to clap and yell positive encouragement to the players and not negatively at the coaches. Maybe, that would solve some of the low morale that was mentioned in another post. If the players are always hearing negative people yelling at their coaches, then the respect disappears. Why would a qualified coach want to come down here and put up with some of the fans at WOS. I WOULD NOT!!

    You said a mouth full. Coaching is very important not by any means am I saying that it's not, but WOS has been in some tuff battles the last few weeks and the scores do not really tell the truth about the outcomes. Defense will be the key, I think our players are improving even through losses. I like our chances. Go Stangs!
