Seems simple to me...couple kids from Huntington excited to be in the playoffs and play #1 in the state Silsbee, regardless of what seed they are (although JV Coach, they were one game from district champs...follow the district and you'll understand).
And Kountzer, I'd agree with No Look and ST and say just some clean fun. No one is trying it start anything and if you take that as trying to start something, I would suppose that when my six year old told me after the seeding loss to Hudson "well dad, if you wanna be the best you gotta play the best", he was trying to start something too....smh
So regardless if a thunderstorm is in the area or not, Ill be there to watch two teams battle it out Monday in Livingston...because 1.) I would sure hate to say on Tuesday morning that I missed the game because I didn't want to turn on my windshield wipers and 2.) because I cheer on and follow the Red Devils 24/7/365...not just when they're ranked #1, favored or its convenient...
Good luck to both teams...but cheering for an upset!

Hudson vs Huntington Friday night @ Lufkin High School. Loser is 4th seed.
Winner of Hudson/Huntington plays Diboll Saturday at Lufkin High School.
-
3 way tie for second: Hudson/Huntington/Diboll
No talks about a tournament at Angelina College.

Took me 45 minutes to get it straight, and Im not sure if my straight is straight...just wait till Tuesday, well figure it out then...or Friday...or Saturday...

Shepherd/Hudson/Diboll/Huntington make the cut for the playoffs...
Winner of the Shepherd/Diboll game Tuesday could end up the lone district champ with a win Tuesday and a Huntington loss...THEN Hudson/Huntington and the loser of Shepherd/Diboll would all share tie for second...my assumption would be a Friday/Saturday playoff with one team winning a flip for the bye...?
However if Huntington wins in Jasper, the winner of Shepherd/Diboll shares the district title with Huntington and the loser shares third with Hudson (Hudson has the last game bye)...assuming again...that would result in a playoff for 3rd/4th between the loser of Shepherd/Diboll and Hudson...because who wants Silsbee round 1?
22-4A could be waiting a while to see who they match up with round 1.
Point being, District 21-4A has one game left, and if I have it right, three teams could end up in first or forth...interesting year

Huntington won in 3.

Huntington up 2-0.
25-13

Where is each team in the lineup

Ill be at the Huntington Jasper game. I think both teams have only two losses on the year and it's the district opener. Should be a good one.

Huntington over LCM 2-1 in game one. I think they may be playing another

Definitely some aggravation going on in the stands in the Jasper/WOS game...

Thanks for the update

are they still playing?

Great game for the Red Devils. Robertson had a great game, probably 460 all purpose and I think 6 TD...but with as impressive as he was the Red Devil defense played awesome. Also credit to all the Red Devils for sticking it out after being down 14 in the first half and playing through. Congrats Huntington.
