If Huntington doesn't win then they won't win another game
BOLD statement. I respectfully disagree.

Huntington (1-2) travels to Warren (0-2). I didn't realize what Warrens district is but it looks pretty competitive. Warren looking to get rolling going into district and Huntington looks to keep things going after a big win last week and get momentum going into district.
Who takes this one?

Im proud for HS that they had the numbers they had. Also y'all are right, they had some GREAT looking kids. QB can throw, had some kids that can catch. Good luck to them, I hope they blow someone out this season.

I for one don't like getting into these discussions on forums because it always ends up demeaning kids. That's not my intention nor should it be any adults on an online forum. We all love our teams and our kids. I am glad for the Huntington kids that they got a win tonight and at the same time sympathize with Scarbough. Congrats Red Devils for getting going and I hope y'all carry this momentum into the upcoming weeks. Good luck to Scarbough, their coaching staff and kids as they continue their season.

If you think for a second that Huntington went into tonight's game thinking it would end like this your crazy. No one forced Scarboughs schedule. And if you think they came to Huntington not thinking "were gonna get this one" your crazy too. There is a reason they drove a bus over two and a half hours to play in Huntington.

How is Huntington at fault for that? Amigo.

5A. Ponderossa...seriously?

Where did those kids come from out there in the middle of no where. Hardin has some HUGE kids on the O and D line...good luck the rest of the season.

HH meet me at concessions. It's humid down here I need a coke.

Gonna be a good second half.

Welcome HH. Welcome to a site where adults analyze children as if they were NFL players. All in good fun. Good luck this week even though I hope the Devils come out on top.
On a different note, I'm just glad as far as I know Huntington doesn't have to play a town with a loop this year...Let alone a multimillion dollar stadium, or McDonalds or a....

By better I mean better for Huntington, not an overall better district. Meaning whoever said Robertson may have been an athlete in the old district but not the new was crazy.
-
For those of you who are in the new district, saying the Robertson may have been an athlete in the old district but not the new...remember, Huntington got a break, this new district is better than the old...Center....Diboll...Jasper...oh and don't forget Carthage.

I'll take Huntington, bouncing back from a loss last week although Hardin put up a bunch of points last week. I think Huntington's offense will put it together this week, could be a high scoring match.
-
Nope it's true. WW has a couple of real shifty backs. Their offense moved the ball well. Both teams had a couple of long TDs called back and Huntington had a penalty or two that were costly. Overall Westwood was consistant on offense. Huntington will be ok, week one is too early to get down. Although Hardin scored 52 and held their opponent to a minimum score I think Huntington will bounce back this week and get things going.
