Just looked at the weather report for Friday night.  looks like 80% rain for most of the sets area.  I still think huntington wins but ill say 32-18 Huntington if its wet

I wont argue with the statement that they could play in and possibly win 8 games with their schedule. Success breeds success. Early success is key in Huntingtons year.

No upset but Huntington is going to beat Palestine Westwood handily. This will be the best year in the history of the school. They have a chance to go 6-0 before Madisonville.    

 

Huntington going 6-0 is bold.  That would double the most number of wins in a season for the Red Devils. I think they have a good group of kids and have put together the best coaching staff they've had in a while up there.  I hope your right falcon.

Is it just me (and it may be) but does anyone have trouble finding east Texas live and final scores on Friday nights?

 

I have an idea of a way we could all get current scores throughout the night on Fridays but it would take everyone pitching in with your teams scores or updates on the game you are at.

 

I can set up an online database that would allow everyone to enter scores and also see updated scores throughout the night.

 

If there is enough interest I will set it up.  Let me know!

Coldspring has to be the favorite...Madisonville lost a ton from what I hear but I would think they would be near the top.  I agree JTate, something has to turn around for Tarkington/Huntington.  I think Tarkington lost their athlete QB (not certain on that one either) and not sure of what Huntington has coming back except their QB but the realignment with DI and DII for 4A has to help both of those teams.  Diboll beat Huntington for a playoff spot last year in the last game (1-4 in district) and I THINK they have several coming back (I know I know I know nothing about a lot).  

 

Should get interesting and I'm excited for a new season as always.

Why yes we do GET to take four teams this year. Lol. AND not everyone gets a trophy with two teams staying home! I guess the question will arise at some point so let's get it out of the way, who gets spot 4? Diboll, Huntington it Tarkington? History says Diboll.

Huntington: West Wood; Elkhart

Madisonville: Fairfield; Caldwell

Shepphard: Kountze; Huffman

Tarkington: Sterling; EC

 

Some of these teams haven't played in some time...
