Hard to believe any programs are worse than ours and we have a bunch of bad programs. Men's basketball just finished 9-22...11-49 over last two seasons. Dead last in probably the worst conference in the country other than the Northeastern. Think back when we had SFA and Sam and other teams that were halfway decent but it was unacceptable to finish third or fourth behind them. Now we can't even make a conference tournament that takes 8 out of 10 teams.

Do you guys have any current RPI services you view that you consider reliable? I've checked a few and they are kind of wacky. For instance one has Oakland ahead of us and we swept them and they only won one other game. Lamar should be decent playing at home. Penn lost a three game series to top 25 South Carolina last weekend and that is the only games they have played. South Carolina is currently 9-0.

Lamar wins another opening with 7 straight victories by a score of 2-1. Jacob Ellis with 7 strong innings of work tonight. Next game tomorrow evening versus Houston Christian.

What can you say about this mess of a program? Another 20 loss season sitting in a three way tie for last place in arguably the worst conference in the country.

Yes, they sit in 3rd place behind A&M Corpus and Southeastern La with two games to play. They need to pass one of those teams or catch them while holding the tiebreaker. Their last two games are against New Orleans and Nicholls the bottom two teams in the conference...both beat Lamar earlier or we could be in first place.

LOL I knew I was going to forget to keep up with this game being at 11 am. Tomorrow SFA at 7 pm.

Well jumped out early and held on 4-3. Next game Friday morning in Sugar Land versus New Mexico State.

nah we have a long history with them we are 8-35 but that is only our second win in 24 tries in College Station.

Yes and did you see how they blew it with errors and misplays? Really sad. They did manage to win two in a row after this and had a 3-0 lead in the third game but lost to fall to 3-10 on the season now. I think those two wins might cost us on our over/under for wins for the season.

at #4 Texas A&M tomorrow; also play at #1 LSU and #8 TCU later. Of course, these rankings don't mean much this time of season and a lot of these games get played more like exhibition games so sometimes hard to tell.

Lamar 70 McNeese 63 FINAL. Lamar comes from 11 down at McNeese to win. McNeese only 5-17 coming in but I guess at this point any win is nice for Lamar.

Well two more losses since I last posted. Overall record of 6-15. Record since Alvin Brooks took over 8-42 Ten more games left this season maybe two look like Lamar would be favored to win.
