We can argue about the fouls at the end, but the game was lost on the five second call. Texas played from behind the whole game. They had a two point lead with 12 seconds left, plus the ball. That should be ballgame. What a bonehead way to lose.

That five second call lost the game for Texas.

I don't talk smack. Ned and PNG will both bounce back. Writing two of the perrenial teams in a district off after one game is foolish.

A few years ago, Ned's 9th grade team had Central 22-0 in the 3rd inning. The ump called the game after Central batted (home team)......... way it should be.

My son, Matt Robinson, collapsed and died at home plate at NHS High school diamond. I will take to task anyone who would even question the integrity of this young man. Matt was as good a person as you would ever want to meet, just as I'm sure is the case for this young man. Matt died from arrythmia. To even suggest either was on drugs of any kind without knowing anything about them is totally cruel and insensitive. My prayers go out to the parents, family, and friends of this young man.

I like to look at it like Ball's competition is getting tougher.  ;D
