Good for them. Is there a trophy involved or just the typical blow hard? Just think, 20 years from now they can look back and lay claim to 8-2 in bowl games. But won't they be made fun of for it? I mean I get laughed at for bringing up Cowboy Superbowls and Texas' national championships, so what is all the fuss? That may be true, but 3 of the top 6 most exciting bowl games included 3 Big XII teams.....and I'm not even a conference suck up.

I don't see much difference in a drunk 20 year old and a drunk 21 year old. I know some 17-18 year old guys who are more mature than some men I know who are in their 30s. All i am asking is why does it have to be earned? No one else "earned " it, simply born on an earlier date.....to me, does not equate to maturity. Military service used to be forced when I was growing up. Drinking age was still 21 in Texas. Cigarettes?.......kids as young as 7-8 years old could go to the store and buy them for mom or dad. tvc, you are too well-informed for me to debate. However, I do think my point is valid.
