I can't post the pics but that tx hs sports projection is more likely in my opinion, nothing against DCTF. Hopefully both will be posted. I like the tx hs sports projection for the 5As too.

I just saw the TX HS sports projection. Selfishly, I want them to switch North Shore and Channelview to District 21 and move the two Beaumont schools to District 22 lol. But generally speaking, those look like solid projections. CE King to the HISD district? Sheesh

Hmm. Played a 6A playoff team and a 5A D1 team ranked #5. Not sure what you are talking about.

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be serious. That was a reference to when Barbers Hill beat FB Marshall in the first round and a Crosby fan said that it was because of Marshall's weak non-district schedule.

You answered your own question. Schedule some heat the first two games. At least let em feel some pressure.

lol, those games were so early in the season that it would have had little to nothing to do with how they played this game. They just got outplayed. If FB Marshall and Barbers Hill played again next week, I'd still pick Marshall. But on that night, BH was better.

Thats right, but the conspiracy theorists all over social media will never believe it, even though HP did indeed move up in the past. Its a fact they willfully ignore.

What people also fail to understand is that HP is mostly "landlocked", and cannot grow significantly even if they wanted to.

I mean, the Highland Park +5 thing is mostly in jest from me, but the whole landlocked and can't grow if they want to... Is literally how HP wants it to be. You think they couldn't open up and take kids from those surrounding areas if they wanted to? But... they don't want to. I could be wrong, but I believe I read a story awhile back about some apartment complexes being built next to HP and some of those students possibly being zoned for HPISD, but the city said no.

Highland Park landlocked itself, it's literally in the middle of Dallas but wants nothing to do with the rest of the city of Dallas, especially the schooling.

Angleton's coach said they have not been able to find another opponent to replace Houston Wisdom who forfeited  and they will start preparing for next week. I'm surprised he would even want to as the city was hit hard by NIcholas. The center of the storm passed less than 15 miles to the west. They have not had school this week but hope to reopen on Friday. Nearly the whole city lost power.  In an earlier game, another HISD school forfeited, Kashmere and he found another team to play, Alief Taylor. Ironically, the team that Kashmere played that week instead of Angleton was  Wisdom. Last week Wisdom forfeited to Manvel. According to Maxpreps ratings, Manvel would have been a 99 point favorite. I'm hoping Wisdom will be a D2 problem next year. Wisdom used to be R.E. Lee high school before they changed it a few years ago. From 2003 to 2012 they did not have varsity football because of lack of interest. They have homecoming at a soccer match, I'm told.

We played Wisdom the first game of the regular season and they called the game at halftime when we were up 41-0. I don't see them playing many, if anymore games this season.

Your post is another example of someone looking at everything through rose colored glasses. Arlington ISD is a great example of a multi school district that SPENDS $ on things such as indoor facilities, weight rooms, etc. It’s all about what’s important, and until districts like Pasadena and Baytown make football important, then they’re never going to be successful.

You're talking about Dallas area schools, and you're right on them, but what Irving, Garland, Mesquite? And then how many Houston area district are doing that? Idk what the rose tinted glasses are that I'm using, I just don't think it's necessary for you to take a shot at a group of people when there are plenty of school districts struggling in football (Aldine, Alief, among others).

Conservatives,( I don’t understand there being a division….we’re all human), don’t believe in taking the life of an unborn child. Anyone who does, believes in the murder of that child. I don’t care what right some woman thinks she has, or what the Supreme Court has deemed as her right, it still comes down to murder and we have had to abide/live with that decision for decades. I don’t have a daughter, but if she had somehow become pregnant out of wedlock, I can assure you that she would have had the child, raised it as her own with my expert help as a parent, or she would have given it up for adoption to loving parents.

I’ll try this one more time. Has anyone been close to any woman who had a miscarriage? If so, were tears shed? If you believe in abortion, why feel any pain? It’s just another lifeless (according to you) creature that would have been a burden.

I had two boys who I love more than anything, but they were burdens on my lifestyle. When the first was born, everything that I knew about life changed for the better, even though the financial burden was there. We somehow make it through. I never could have conceived my life without them. God finds a way to make it happen, but you have to try with Him.

Therein lies the problem. You don't care about women's rights to their own bodies. I'm not even trying to convince you the other way to be honest, you just admitted yourself that you don't care.

I'm wondering if Wisdom will forfeit all their district games this year. They tried a couple last year which they lost by 64 and 67 points and then forfeited after that.

They're in a ridiculous district at the top. They have a bit of talent, but no depth and they're not coached that well either.

Like who ? We only aware of Johnson taking his talents to another schhol

One of them went back to Lancaster and I hadn't realized it, so I'll take the L on that one. It's an impressive victory no doubt, I don't want to say that it's not. And yeah, I was partially incorrect lol so I will sit back and give PA it's just due.

In my opinion there’s not much they can do. When you’re short on talent, you’re pretty much in trouble. These two programs will continue to decline. I hate to be up front an honest, but that’s just the way it is.

P.S. The majority of multi school districts across the state struggle mightily in football

The majority of multi school districts also don't have nearly the resources that some of those single school districts do for football. Their own stadium, indoor facility, massive weightrooms, multiple athletic periods, if they have athletic periods at all, stuff that have nothing to do with being Hispanic. You say you want to be upfront and honest but it just seemed like going out of your way to take a gratuitous shot at two programs doing their best with what they are given.

  11. I know that we're Houston and not SETX area, and this game won't mean anything to most/all of yall, but I just want to shoutout my team Sam Rayburn for winning 41-0 on Thursday night over Houston Wisdom. The game was called at halftime because of impending lightning and rain, but still a great start to the season for us.
