Green and Dugat never played Manvel. Heck Green never played either school. Also to say they weren't comparable to SS when they scored 49 pts is a little silly. Fact is Dayton turned the ball over inside the 5 and SS had a successful on side kick. That was the difference in a game where neither offense could be stopped. Believe me AJ wasn't an All American for nothing. He compared fine with anyone on that field.

Nice to see a ton of kids playing this year. Dayton will suit up over 30 seniors and probably close to 50 kids on varsity. I look for Dayton to be a much more physical run before pass team on offense. If the defense plays up to par I think Dayton will be a tough out for anyone. I know I'm ready to watch some high school football and in particular some Broncos.

Sounds like typical small town crap to me.  People start bashing coach because they aren't satisfied with results.  Nothing at all to do with the fact that maybe the kids aren't any good.. Not at all..  Am I mistaken or are the kids playing now part of the same groups that had to have 6th graders play in JH so they'd have enough for a team to begin with?  And didn't these groups pretty much go win less in sub-varsity and JH competition?

By the way..1st you meed with the Coach himself. (if he'll meet with you.  I wouldn't.)  2nd step in the chain of command is Sup, not principal.  AD and principal are on same level. Then if not satisfied you speak at board meeting.  But board makes hires on Sup's recommendations (vast majority of the time). At least they should..  You can't just fire someone because of disgruntled fans or parents.  The guy is under contract and will remain under contract unless he is non renewed or breaks the agreement of his contract. 
Shame this community gets so much attention because of a few idiots.

I don't have to condemn them they're already being punished...however them stealing money didn't stop me from getting an education...some of you like to try and make it seem as though them stealing the money effected the kids SOOOOOO much lol when in actuality it didn't all my years of going to school in BISD I've never felt deprived of my education. I truly believe that most of you all are happy that there the largest school district in the area is no longer ran by majority black people. Another thing I've noticed is it mostly people from outside the Beaumont area and folks that don't have kids attending BISD schools like why you even care whats going on? I hardly ever see people from Beaumont saying negative things about whats going on in the district...So IMO what I previously stated has to be the reason for most of the comments on here.

Dayt will be real good,have not had a 1,000+ yd returning rb in a very long time,the kid (14.2) said was the best Dayt qb to walk the halls=back for sr year along w/more than a dbl handful of new kids coming in to the program.Those that follow Bronco football know Offense has not been the PROBLEM.It took everything code red had to win the last cpl games smh Dayt lost almost their entire offensive production lol.I can tell you the gene' pool is still here

Since TEA has taken over the school's in BISD have gotten worse you're missing the point. 

That's on UIL..not this coach.  He can't help that it was so watered down.  Don't you think for one second that Houston Scarborough coach don't have on his resume that he broke a whatever long playoff streak.
And to be honest he's WAY better off leaving.  If he caught this much grief imagine if he'd stayed.  And "other things" are irrelevant.  He made the playoffs, I'm sure did all of the things he was assigned to do per his contract, and the criminal charges were dismissed.  Because they were WRONG.  Which just tells me it was a bunch out of shape kids that couldn't hack it.  Don't like it...plenty of room in the band.
I just hope there isn't anything lasting for this guy associated with a bogus criminal investigation.  Those parents need to realize they were messing with someone's livelihood.
And like I said already...good luck getting a good coach to come to this dump after the last guy was criminally charged for "excessive workouts".  And good luck being one of the 4 in a 5 team district without your D1 quarterback.
