Casey at NG was unblock able ! Just a Junior,he destroyed Texas City inside running game.Bost up the middle may not work against the Coogs.

Grdn played the entire game, but if you watch the game on YouTube Below you can tell he may be at 50 or 60%.A lot of his passes are High and he did not RUN once, except to move out of the pocket only to throw the ball away,which is unusual for Grden.Pavlitz ,Friendswood's workhorse RB did not play.Defense did a great job shutting down the Laporte offense.Injuries are playing a big part this time of season.

We have a money problem here in Friendswood HEHEHE ! ,but I definitely agree on the light problem.Stadium itself is ancient.

Defense in Crosby !! Is it the Coordinator from Baytown Jackson Tar or Secondary coach Lucas Shields.I've noticed a couple familiar name that was there on defense from almost 10 years ago when defense was very questionable.Great to see a turnaround from giving up 52 to Montgomery to o to Dayton and 7 to Barbers hill.I see the 2nd teamers got some playing time which will bode well for next seasons.Questions for Cougar14.2 ~ What happen to Sagastegui who was penciled in as a starter on the offensive line? Did Jaden Fields move away? And What's the status of Brian Samuel ? Since I live in Friendswood,I will see the Cougars play Texas City next Week. Update:  UIL receives late night phone call regarding running clock at Dayton/Crosby.
       Caller reportedly yells "Running clocks are illegal!!! Double forfeit!!! Double forfeit!!!"

You loose your 4yr QB and starting CB two weeks ago.Last week they lost a LB on defense.Their replacements are young.I watched last week and did not see a usual Friendswood team.For Lee,they picked up a QB from Dayton and had 7 returners on offense and 9 on defense.

I kid i kid.  It was just funny looking at the lineup that was posted.  That size of players is enormous.  We here in "The Groves "dont see size like that.  haha

Smh, Man Coach I just wasn’t going to point anything like that out in this environment. What I will say is how it’s odd that both Crosby and Dayton have experienced a demographic shift, yet Cosby views is as having access to additional athletes but some Dayton folk not so much? 
 
Funny how I never heard mention of that when Juan Carranco was an all-state kicker and signal caller Andres Herrera had them in the 3rd round. I believe he was actually the last Dayton to also beat Crosby, and you know how much weight that carries down HWY 90. 

I like the lil backup QB, he got some speed too, i don't know how accurate he is passing but FW got some WRs and that TE is a big one.

I don’t think they’re free agents, not sure who they are? We couldn’t really sit in groups at the scrimmage so I didn’t catch any of the usual random comments regarding the kids. I know one kid I really like is just a sophomore they moved up to varsity as a freshman at the end of the year. Good possibility the other kids was on the freshman or jv last year too. My son went to school in the DFW area last year so I didn’t catch any underclassmen games to be able to verify who’s who. 

My biggest takeaways were; 1. Jaylen Herman is a savage. Picked up where he left off against Huntsville. 2. We probably need more of a threat at the backup rb position. 3. The jv QB looks like a mini Johnny Football, could end up being a player for us if he grows some. 

 

Top four offensive skill guys(QB, RB, 2WRs) came back for Crosby and it looks like it. We also have a couple of additions. Crosby hasn't looked this good at the skill positions as a collective since 2015. I would expect them to be one of the best 5A offenses in the state if they can stay healthy. We will see what the defense looks like when we scrimmage Tomball this week.   

And free agency comes to High School.  😂😂🤣😂😂
