Caleb Bell is horse for TC,he scored on the first play from scrimmage.Had a long run starting the second half, then sat out the rest of the game.Don;t know why.Scott,Tullos and White gives the defense a very formidable front seven.Back up rbs for Texas city were OK.QB Duran is short but you can tell he's played his share of football. Friendswood were beat up front.Shelby played his usual good game for Friendswood.Late score make it seem close, but it wasn't.

Clear Falls 1 Friendswood 0 nothing to get excited about here.Clear Falls RB Smith is a very hard runner, you better wrap him up and hold on.Friendswood starting a 6-4 QB Foster with a strong arm.If he gets in a groove,Mustang offense will be OK.If Clear Falls is rated #2 in their district, the district must be weak.First week BLAH BLAH,I certainly hope so.

LB Braylen Shipley of Friendswood.Reads the offensive extremely quick and covers 3/4 of the field.Has many offers on his plate.If I can say a second, look for Ayden Jones of Crosby to have a great year after being denied last year by the UIL.He has a lot of the same savy Shipley has.

Have all these transfers deemed eligible by the UIL ? Sounds like a purely sports related reason for these transfers.

Look what Crosby has coming back next year, District MVP, SS,3rd,2nd,1st team Pitcher,plus other returnees,why would a coach leave ?

I remember the playoff game in 2015 between Beamont Central and C.E. King.Central had a RB Devwah Whaley who later played at Arkansas.C.E. King was playing without Traveon Williams RB who played at A&M and now in the NFL.The 1st half belonged to Whaley as he carved up the Panthers defense.Leading 21 -12 at halftime Central looked as if they would defeat my alma mater.The second half, we asked ourselves why aren't they giving Whaley the rock.I know I would have .Last Central play was a fumble rolling around in the Central backfield and a Williams less Panthers won 32-31.When you have a stud like Whaley,who King couldn't stop in the first half, give the kid the rock and go with the kid that got you there.
