Congrats to Angleton ! Congrats to our boys at Friendswood.These guys never quit.For some reason they did not tackle tonight, something I didn't see all year.

AJ actually forced the QB wide to the sidelines and tackled him from behind.That was unreal for a kid that size.I left starting of the 4th qt so I didn't see #66 play.I have always been impressed with # 42 Windfont ever since he lay out the Anglelton QB in their scrimmage.I could hear the hit from where I was sitting ( opposite end of Stadium ).I noticed the coaches played him at inside and outside.And Yarbrough will give Crosby a one Two punch with Levi,so we don't need any RB mailboxes for a while.Things look bright in Cougar Country.

Remember #57 Anson Johnson,I think he is a Frosh.Huge kid and was making tackles all over the place.He can move for a HUGE kid.

With a Granddaughter being a Cheerleader at Friendswood,I finally get to see a season Game.Made the scrimmage in Angleton.Hope for a injury free contest and look forward to seeing those promising underclassmen the second half.First step to another State run.

I guess coach Harris didn't listen to your double team strategy on #99.I watched and he was not double teamed and was taken care of by a 2nd stringer in the second quarter and beyond.One tackle behind the line of scrimmage and maybe a total of 3 tackles the whole night.He did go down hurt.I hope he recovers in time for next week.

Well my Stangs just shows up every week and plays their guts out and great things happen.Db never gives up and runs Sanders down inside the 5.Memorial then can't punch it in.Friendswood drives the length of the field and scores.Koopman goes for 2 and scores.On the kickoff, the returner fumbles the reception, then kicks it and Friendswood recovers.Thanks Memorial for sooo many opportunities. By the way to the poster who warned me of # 99 and how he would destroy our running game.I think he made about 2 or 3 tackles all ( not behind the line of scrimmage as suggested)The starting guard blocking him got hurt in the second quarter and the 2nd stringer took care of him from there. Proud of them Stangs.

My bad ~ After a 0-4 start.

Any team that puts their Noseguard in the backfield and overloads the offensive line shows their game plan.Against Ball,who was playing with a 170 lb nose guard,the offense controlled the line of scrimmage when they ran up the middle, but consistently tried to run on the corners with little success. I agree with other post on QB Duplius.He is inaccurate on his throws, but will surprise you sometimes.Anxious to see if DE Mathew Reyes is ready to go against PAM.Had a slight limp and didn't play against Ball.Figure PAM will have too much speed for Friendswood,but I have underestimated these kids all year after a 0-3 start.They have earned the position they're in, a trip to the playoffs!

Mason Duke was the starting QB against Friendswood but came up gimpy.#12 Avery Thomas Soph.came in then.Lost a 2 way player Ethan Dyson to a broken leg? in the Friendswood game. Injuries has really hurt this team.
