Because of open enrollment, your assumption there was a violation I believe is incorrect.Another QB from Clear Brook transferred to C.E.King with the notion that the Senior Qb has transferred to New Caney,and being a Junior he would be at King for 2 years.He found out another transfer was at King and he would not beat him out,so guess who was the starting QB at Clear Brook last year.None other than the young man who left Clear Brook to go to King,couldn't win the starting job and scampered back and started the 1st game. 6A must have a different set of transfer rules ( Open Enrollment ) than 5A.I know this story because I live in the neighborhood behind Clear Brook high school.There was a loss of participation at Clear Brook when he retained the starting job.

Before last night's game with Magnolia West,Head Coach Robert Koopman announced he would end his 29 years of coaching the Mustangs.After watching Friendswood the last six years,I noticed two very important things,these kids are prepared to play and they would give it their All . Although victory was not always in the cards, Friendswood players could leave the field with their heads held high.Last years team defeated Port Arthur Memorial the last game of the season to hand the Mustangs a District Crown.A Bunch of Over Achievers led by Koopman played a great game.This years team, after losing both their offensive and defensive lines and a very productive Running back ALWAYS played for Koop ! I hope the community finds the next Koop to lead the Mustangs.

If Porter,Crosby and BH ends 5-3,I think Porter has to win by 7,am I wrong or right.? If it's a 3 way tie,Crosby sets at +4,Porter is -5 and BH is. +1.So Porter needs to win by 6 or 7 to get in ???

Sounds like someone has never played High school football ! A trip to the playoffs is special to the seniors who has spent their high school years playing.And in Crosby's case,a trip to the playoffs keeps a streak alive. That's why they play the Game.

Too many missed tackles by Crosby.If you let Duncan run loose he will hurt anybody's defense.Multiple times Crosby had him corralled for big losses only for him to get loose and make a play.Too many silly mistakes or this game should have been out of reach a lot Sooner.Fontenot takes over in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

It was 34-0 Friendswood with 6 minutes left in game.I thought Friendswood had problems ! Willowridge couldn't get anything going.No running game and brick hands.

Went to the Lee vs Clear Brook to watch my Neighborhood team,Clear Brook play.Lee's offense is like watching a 7 on 7 game with tackling.Lee QB must have passed 40 times ( Maybe exaggerated ).He's either passing or running and that is really not good if he gets hurt.Backup did play a little.Containment by Crosby on QB roll outs and secondary not letting receivers get behind them,Crosby should win 56 - 20.Look for a BIG play from Cougar special teams !

Did Caleb Bell play in this game,He ran the ball once in the 2nd half against Friendswood and then was AWOL the rest of the game? A promising team of underclassmen ~ Duran,Scott,White,Both oTs,Burton,Greif,Prada and others,I thought this would be a " w".Maybe it's time for a coaching change if not at the head coach, but at the offensive Coordinator.These kids do play defense but offense seems to be lacking.
